The Mario game is excellent. It has good controls excellent gameplay and perfect graphics. It is basically the same as the N64 version but you can be 4 different characters, Yoshi, Mario, Luigi, and Wario. You need all four in the game because they all have different powers. You need certain ones to get some of the stars. Mario can fly, Wario can turn metal, Luigi can become invincable, and Yoshi can breathe fire. Also, the characters all have other small abilities. For example, Luigi can stay in the air for an extra long time following the high jump, and Yoshi can suck opponents up and spit them into other opponents and kill both in a single shot. They also offer fun mini games when you catch rabbits that you will see hoping around in the castle. Nintendo should make another Mario for the DS. I loved this game so much, it took me two weeks to beat the entire thing. However, the wireless play is not so good and they don't utilize the touch screen. I didn't complete it, because I completed it in 1998 when got into games. It was the only reason to buy N64 (other then Goldeneye) and everybody had a Playstation with Twisted Metal, Madden NFL 96, and Final Fantasy VII. This is was Nintendo 64 was considered a commercial flop, yet sega saturn was nowhere to be seen. In any case, games were better in 1998 and I didn't know anything
