New Details: Walz Also Blatantly Lied About His DUI

Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz, Kamala Harris’ running mate, hasn’t taken any questions since being tapped for the ticket more than a week ago.  Harris hasn’t answered any substantive questions either, of course, having ducked any interviews for nearly a month.  The campaign is instead communicating through pre-written speeches at rallies, paid advertisements, ‘influencer’ endorsements (allegedly including paid endorsements), and a deluge of glowing press coverage — including puff pieces they aren’t participating in, or commenting for.  In one of Walz’s recent speeches, he indignantly asserted that he’s “damn proud” of his military service, then thanked JD Vance for his own service to the country.  This is apparently supposed to sound tough, but also magnanimous:

Let me be clear: I am damn proud of my service to this country. pic.twitter.com/9a9rJSQurQ— Tim Walz (@Tim_Walz) August 13, 2024

Of course, Walz should be proud of his honorable service, which is not the issue.  The issue is that he repeatedly embellished, exaggerated, and lied about his service, including his final rank.  He also bailed on a deployment to Iraq, choosing to retire before his unit was sent to that combat zone (he’d never served in a combat zone, hence the problem with his false pro-gun control claim that he’d ‘carried’ weapons ‘in war’).  He knew the deployment was likely, acknowledged as much, then left to pursue a political career.  Many of his men felt betrayed and abandoned:

Tonight’s @thelauracoates interview with Walz’ direct enlisted superior [retired CSM] Doug Julin is pretty damning- Julin says sr leaders learned abt deployment in fall 2004 and Walz initially was going to stay and deploy before changing his mind. Some of them Walz served with, including his second in command, have been calling him out on these falsehoods and misrepresentations for years.  (His commanding officer also added a scathing assessment last week).  He has ignored and belittled them, knowingly carrying on with his deceptions.  He’s had many opportunities to correct the record, and he’s chosen not to:

Hi, @Tim_Walz and @KamalaHarris—
Just wondering, did you also “misprint” your rank as Command Sergeant Major on your Congressional Challenge Coin?

This is the most egregious video I’ve seen so far- and it’s on a 40min C-SPAN segment! That’s the easiest of settings to correct the interviewer’s intro that said he deployed to Afghanistan. Unless there are any instances of Walz correcting, this is a real pattern.

Welp. Wonder how she and so many others got that false impression? https://t.co/ao8obaAqvs— Guy Benson (@guypbenson) August 9, 2024

That is the problem. Indeed, JD Vance should be thanked for his service.  He also has never lied about it, which is why this sort of trolling bravado is particularly unbecoming:

Vance shows up for a tough challenge & doesn’t lie about it. Walz is the one doesn’t always follow suit, as we’ve learned. https://t.co/l1rXjEImUA— Guy Benson (@guypbenson) August 14, 2024

Vance has, of course, accepted the debate (October 1 on CBS).  Meanwhile, it looks like honesty is a serious weakness for Walz.  I suppose that if a man is willing to fudge, obscure, and distort the truth about his own military service — even after private and public exposures of his inaccuracies — aggressively lying about a politically-inconvenient (and extremely dangerous) DUI would come rather easily.  Kudos to this CNN reporter for uncovering what happened:

NEW: During his 2006 congressional run, Tim Walz’s campaign falsely claimed he wasn’t drinking during his 1995 arrest and the DUI charge was dismissed. They even said he drove to the station.

Court records show the truth.

He was drunk, driving 96 mph.https://t.co/V36D4vzxhc— Andy Kaczynski (@KFILE) August 15, 2024

According to court and police records connected to the incident, Walz admitted in court that he had been drinking when he was pulled over for driving 96 mph in a 55 mph zone in Nebraska. Walz was then transported by a state trooper to a local hospital for a blood test, showing he had a blood alcohol level of .128, well above the state’s legal limit of 0.1at the time. But in 2006, his campaign repeatedly told the press that he had not been drinking that night, claiming that his failed field sobriety test was due to a misunderstanding related to hearing loss from his time in the National Guard. The campaign also claimed that Walz was allowed to drive himself to jail that night…None of that was true. A CNN KFile review of statements made by the Walz campaign at the time reveals numerous discrepancies between how the campaign described the events and the facts of what actually took place that night.

“The DUI charge was dropped for a Reason: it wasn’t true,” Walz’s then-campaign communications directortold local newsin 2006. “The trooper had him drive to the station and then leave on his own after being at the station. Tim feels bad about speeding and has paid the ticket and apologized to his family at the time it happened.” In fact, the incident’s police report clearly states that Walz was transported by police to a local hospital for blood alcohol testing after being arrested. And this week, Nebraska state police confirmed to CNN that Walz was taken by a state trooper to jail…On Tuesday, the Daily Beast published an interview with the state trooper who arrested Walz. He disputed claims that Walz had not been drinking and noted that sobriety test had nothing to do with hearing. The Harris-Walz campaign declined to comment for this story.

Using ‘deafness’ from his National Guard service as a baseless excuse while lying about the facts of this incident is quite a touch, and very on-brand, it seems.  Driving 96mph while drunk is exceptionally reckless.  Lying about all of it, for political gain, appears to be reflective of this man’s character.  I’ll leave you with this: Does Tim Walz ever tell the truth about anything?

EXCLUSIVE: Tim Walz—in footage unearthed by @dcexaminer—called Hitler-promoting imam Asad Zaman a “master teacher” who offered Walz lessons over the time they “spent together”

The footage further contradicts the Harris campaign’s claim Walz has no personal relationship w/ Zaman pic.twitter.com/F1lKcJyzI1— Gabe Kaminsky (@gekaminsky) August 13, 2024

WHERE THE MONEY GOES: Gov. Tim Walz Are Americans being Sovietized? Yes. He's the Evil Man

 https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/d/d6/Statue_of_Lenin_Seattle.jpg

What ultimately ended the nihilist Soviet system?

Was it not that Russians finally tired of the Kremlin’s lies and hypocrisies that permeated every facet of their falsified lives?

Here are 10 symptoms of Sovietism. Ask yourself whether we are headed down this same road to perdition.

1. There was no escape from ideological indoctrination — anywhere. A job in the bureaucracy or a military assignment hinged not so much on merit, expertise or past achievement. What mattered was loud enthusiasm for the Soviet system.

Wokeness is becoming our new Soviet-like state religion. Careerists assert that America was always and still is a systemically racist country, without ever producing proof or a sustained argument.

2. The Soviets fused their press with the government. Pravda, or “Truth,” was the official megaphone of state-sanctioned lies. Journalists simply regurgitated the talking points of their Communist Party partners.

In 2017, a Harvard study found that over 90% of the major TV news networks’ coverage of the Trump administration’s first 100 days was negative.

3. The Soviet surveillance state enlisted apparatchiks and lackeys to ferret out ideological dissidents.

Recently, we learned that the Department of Defense is reviewing its rosters to spot extremist sentiments. The U.S.  Postal Service recently admitted it uses tracking programs to monitor the social media postings of Americans.

CNN recently alleged that the Biden administration’s Department of Homeland Security is considering partnering with private surveillance firms to get around government prohibitions on scrutinizing Americans’ online activity.

4. The Soviet educational system sought not to enlighten but to indoctrinate young minds in proper government-approved thought.

Currently, cash-strapped universities nationwide are hiring thousands of diversity, equity and inclusion staffers and administrators. Their chief task is to scan the admissions, hiring, curriculum and administration at universities. Like good commissars, our diversity czars oversee compliance with the official narrative that a flawed America must confess, apologize for and renounce its evil foundations.

5. The Soviet Union was run by a pampered elite, exempt from the ramifications of their own radical ideologies.

Now, woke Silicon Valley billionaires talk socialistically but live royally. Coke and Delta Airlines CEOs who hector Americans about their illiberality make millions of dollars a year.

What unites current woke activists such as Oprah Winfrey, LeBron James Mark Zuckerberg and the Obamas are their huge estates and their multimillion-dollar wealth. Just as the select few of the old Soviet nomenklatura had their Black Sea dachas, America’s loudest top-down revolutionaries prefer living in Martha’s Vineyard, Beverly Hills, Montecito and Malibu.

6. The Soviets mastered Trotskyization, or the rewriting and airbrushing away of history to fabricate present reality.

Are Americans any different when they indulge in a frenzy of name-changing, statue-toppling, monument-defacing, book-banning and cancel-culturing?

7. The Soviets created a climate of fear and rewarded stool pigeons for rooting out all potential enemies of the people.

Since when did Americans encourage co-workers to turn in others for an ill-considered word in a private conversation? Why do thousands now scour the internet to find any past incorrect expression of a rival? Why are there now new thought criminals supposedly guilty of climate racism, immigration racism or vaccination racism?

8. Soviet prosecutors and courts were weaponized according to ideology.

In America, where and for what reason you riot determines whether you face any legal consequences. Politically correct sanctuary cities defy the law with impunity. Jury members are terrified of being doxxed and hunted down for an incorrect verdict. The CIA and FBI are becoming as ideological as the old KGB.

9. The Soviets doled out prizes on the basis of correct Soviet thought.

In modern America, the Pulitzer Prizes and the Emmys, Grammys, Tonys and Oscars don’t necessarily reflect the year’s best work, but often the most politically correct work from the most woke.

10. The Soviets offered no apologies for extinguishing freedom. Instead, they boasted that they were advocates for equity, champions of the underclass, enemies of privilege — and therefore could terminate anyone or anything they pleased.

Our wokists are similarly defending their thought-control efforts, forced re-education sessions, scripted confessionals, mandatory apologies and cancel culture on the pretense that we need long-overdue “fundamental transformation.”

So if they destroy people in the name of equity, their nihilism is justified.

Harris Is Recycling the 2020 Democrat Campaign

Joe Biden won the 2020 presidential election through a successful tripartite subterfuge.

One, Biden never really campaigned. His handlers rightly assumed that the more the public and the media saw a debilitated Biden in the flesh, the less they would want him as president.

So, the Biden campaign used the COVID lockdowns to ensure that Biden stayed safe in his basement office.

Biden strategically distanced himself from disinterested journalists, using COVID as an excuse to avoid public appearances. It allowed him to run a 19th-century, front-porch sort of virtual campaign.

In his place, the liberal media, Democratic grandees, and the billionaire donor class served as Biden campaign surrogates—vastly outspending, out-advertising, and out-lawyering the underfunded incumbent Trump.

Second, again using COVID as a pretext, well-funded Democratic legal teams altered the voting laws during early 2020 in key swing states to encourage non-Election Day voting.

For the first time, majorities in many key states voted by mail-in/absentee ballots and during weeks of early voting.

We now know why the left was so motivated to push through radical balloting changes that were otherwise impossible prior to 2020 but have been mostly institutionalized since.

Non-Election Day ballots outnumbered Election Day ballots. They were far more likely to be cast by Democrats. And as the number of such ballots soared, the traditional rejection rate of non-Election Day ballots prior to 2020 fell—even as registrars were swamped.

Once obscure terms such as ballot harvesting and ballot curing became mainstream.

Ballot deadlines were extended. There was lax enforcement of incorrect ballot names and addresses or auditing the registrars’ rolls.

Rich liberal entities, such as Mark Zuckerberg and his $419 million in 2020 cash infusions, sought to absorb the work of state registrars. His aim was to “improve” voter turnout through partisan “assistance”—from funding drop boxes to monitoring non-Election Day ballots.

Three, in 2020, the enervated left-wing Joe Biden was reconstructed as a vigorous moderate “ol’ Joe Biden from Scranton.”

Biden’s stealth script was to provide a temperate veneer to the new hard-left Democratic Party.

His 2020 campaign claimed Joe was for “unity” and “moderation”—even as it camouflaged an otherwise extremist neo-socialist agenda to be implemented after November.

Can the Democrats repeat that winning formula for Kamala Harris in 2024?

Only partly.

Even without the excuse of COVID, Harris certainly will not agree to unscripted, ad hoc interviews with non-partisan journalists.

She is unable to speak extemporaneously and off the teleprompter without appearing childish.

Her handlers will ensure few opportunities for Harris to burst into cackling or to stream her puerile musings about yellow school buses or kindergarten geography.

Yet the third element of Biden’s 2020 strategy will be difficult to replicate.

The Bay Area leftist Harris—unlike the Biden of the 1980s and 1990s—never had any reputation, feigned or not, of being a “centrist” or “moderate.”

Her entire political career was one of pandering either to leftist Democrat voters in 2020 or ultra-liberal Californians in her statewide races.

She is on record of opposing fracking and off-shore drilling, private health care, border enforcement, and the traditional close U.S. relationship with Israel.

She proudly promoted the radical new green deal, defunding police forces, mandatory buybacks of private guns, and mass amnesties.

She gratuitously championed the swindler Jussie Smollett and his fraudulent claims of being a victim of systemic racism.

During the horrendous riots of 2020, she sought to raise bail for violent rioters and looters that had been arrested.

On CBS, she egged on the 2020 protests that had already turned violent with deaths, law enforcement injuries, arson, and mass looting—despite the pathetic efforts of partisan fact-checkers to claim otherwise.

Harris gushed of the turmoil: “They’re not going to stop. This is a movement, I’m telling you. They’re not going to stop, and everyone beware, because they’re not going to stop. They’re not going to stop before Election Day in November and they’re not going to stop after Election Day. They’re not going to let up and they should not, and we should not.”

What did Harris mean by “beware?”

Was the BLM- and Antifa-led mayhem really just a “movement?”

Why boast that the turmoil might be endless—both before and after Election Day?

And why connect the massive disruptions to the upcoming Election Day—unless she believes that unrest in the streets could weaken the election chances of the then incumbent president?

In sum, Harris, like Biden, is certainly capable of running a remote stealth campaign.

She will surely take advantage of 2020’s revolution in non-Election Day balloting.

Yet, unlike Biden, Harris has no credible moderate veneer—only an unapologetic radical past and a corpus of hard-left boasts.

So, 2024 will hinge on whether Republicans will expose Harris’s lifelong, hard-left ideology and extremist agendas.

She is a poor substitute for the successful bait-and-switch 2020 con of “ol’ Joe Biden,” the fake moderate “uniter” from Scranton.

JD Vances Destroys Liberal Reporter Who Tried to Race-Bait About Kamala Harris

Vice Presidential candidate Sen. JD Vance (R-OH) obliterated a CNN reporter who tried to race-bait Vice President Kamala Harris as critics point out she isn’t entirely black despite campaigning hard on the claim.

During a visit to the southern border to demonstrate Harris’ border czar failures, CNN correspondent Steve Contorno grilled Vance on whether former President Donald Trump’s remarks questioning Harris’ race make him hesitate to run as the Republican’s VP pick.

“He [Trump] said that Vice President Harris is ‘all the sudden Black.’ As a father of three biracial children, do those comments give you pause at all?” Contorno asked.

Vance shot back, calling Harris a “chameleon” with a “fake southern accent.”

“They don’t give me pause at all,” Vance pushed back. “Look, all he said is that Kamala Harris is a chameleon. She goes to Georgia two days ago, she was raised in Canada, she puts on a fake southern accent. She is everything to everybody and she pretends to be somebody different depending on which audience she is in front of.”

Earlier this week, Trump was hit with criticism after he said that Harris had become a black person despite identifying as an Indian for the past years at the National Association of Black Journalists (NABJ).

Vance took the opportunity to point out several instances where Harris has flip-flopped on hard-hitting issues.

“I think it’s totally reasonable for the [former] president to call that out,” Vance said. “And that’s all he did. Look, she’s running as a tough-on-crime prosecutor even though she has implemented open border policies. She’s saying that she wants to support the police, yet she wanted to defund the police just three years ago. It’s totally reasonable to call out the fact that she pretends to be somebody different depending on the audience she’s talking to.”

JD Vance obliterates CNN reporter trying to race-bait about Kamala Harris: pic.twitter.com/HTHorM4zrj— End Wokeness (@EndWokeness) August 1, 2024

Vance shares three biracial children with his wife, Usha Vance, who is the daughter of Indian immigrants.

The Ohio senator was in Arizona to assess the southern border that has been overrun by illegal immigrants thanks to President Joe Biden and Harris’ reckless policies.

Vance stood in front of an uncompleted border wall, which was halted on day one of Biden’s Administration through an executive border.

“We see the border wall sitting here, waiting to be completed behind us,” he said, calling for the reinstatement of the Trump-era Remain in Mexico policy and an end to the “catch and release” of illegal aliens.

My Retail history

When I was 10 years old, I went into Mall of America a lot and that was Barnes and Noble, Funcoland, The Gap, Camp Snoopy mainly as elementary school field trips, and trips with David Hartmon, my cousin. So I found some old Windows 95 and MS-DOS disks at Walmart and Target. I used to buy Kings Quest, Simcity 2000, Secret of Monkey's Island. I rented some VHS from Mr. Movies in Hudson, Wisconsin and the local VHS renter in Roberts, Wisconsin. I had Pizza at Carbones pizza in Hudson. I used to go to the Toys R US in Woodbury. I biked around the block to the Holiday gas station (before Circle K) that was my first job. I always cooked food at home from County Market grocery store.

Then I found some Super Nintendo games at Toys R US. I was into Super Nintendo, Sega Saturn, Dreamcast, Sega Genesis, playstation, playstation 2, nintendo entertainment system. I also went to Funcoland and just bought lots of Japanese videogames, because thats what was displayed on the shelves and on posters or advertisements. I bought a lot of used games, because it was cheaper. I remember Nintendo 64 games costing $70 at Walmart. I used to eat at Applebees.

Then Mr. Movies closed in the 2000s. I didn’t go to Blockbuster. Later, it had DVDs, but I used to go there for VHS more. I bought all the DVDs at Best Buy, Walmart and Target. I didn’t ask the customer service. The insane thing is the manager of Best buy wanted to look at my stuff. Marxist-Leninist managers look at our stuff. The managers pick on us people with receipts and bags, not the gangster. Anyhow, Best Buy and Walmart is corrupted as all fuck now. Artificial intelligence scanning faces.

I used to go to the Gamestop and toyriffic and give them JPEG dvds, but nobody gave a damn about me and my hobbies. I had my cousin penny since 2014, but no girlfriends for 30 years. I was going to stores alone for 38 years. No phone numbers.

I used the SEO on websites, because nobody gave a damn about me for 10 years into adult hood, because of course they didn’t. At one time, I had X-Fire messenger before it went bankrupt for online multiplayer and chat. X-Fire messenger went bankrupt, and then there was outrageous fees attached to online multiplayer since 2012. I used it for Diablo 2, Guild Wars, Dungeon Siege, Neverwinter Nights, Unreal Tournament, Return to Castle Wolfenstine, Quake 3 Arena, Far Cry, Unreal Tournament 2004,

So in 2024, there was no girlfriends for 40 years and the stores cameras scan your face and its like communism when you’re trying to meet people (you can’t) This Wisconsin and Minnesota sucks for people disabled. Every store has a security camera with audio. I was at the dork den, and there was no fucking way I could get friends there. No fucking way. The store was a money grab 100% probably for its entire existence. Same with the comic book store, had security camera with audio, money grab, no friends, no snapchat. No instagram. Insane social polices. And the Democratic Party wants to be voted in as a Marxist-Leninist party so I have no fucking life what so ever or what’s left of my life. Motherfucker politicians..
