Resonance of Fate review

Resonance of Fate takes you deep into the distant future. The climate appears more than once and failed so the earth as good as dead. All that remains is a huge complex. This complex, also known as Basel, purifies the toxic heavy air. This is the only place on Earth where there is clean air, everyone living in and around this big pile shaped building. The air is the purest gut oven, so the class is re-inserted. The richest living above in the "candlestick", while the poorest live close to the drill. The air there is still moderately toxic, so the people are a kind of mutants. Cover this with a steampunk sauce and you have a picture of life in Resonance of Fate.

You'll be in the shoes of a group of bounty hunters creep. Vasheron, Zephyr and Leanne are residents of the fourth floor of Basel and is known as bounty hunters, but actually put them mainly in Basel and to save mankind. They all have their strengths and complement each other well. They can also quite funny, because during the story you will enjoy a joke more than once heard coming from their mouths. The game will also focus only on these three characters, so you will not during the game to unlock other characters. This in itself is good, because if you see the characters grow throughout the game. You also get a stronger bond with the characters, which is good.

During the game you will be mainly concerned with the main missions. This will be quite some time-consuming, allowing the playing of the game is very high. You can also always some zijmissies that make the play more inflating. Besides missions will still be busy with other things. For example, your game world from some kind of board. The majority is inaccessible and there than you can build paths through hexes, a kind of tiles. This is very funny and also forces you to occasionally zijgevechten what to enter in order to unlock hexes. Furthermore you will also need to upgrade your weapons. This is done by parts to make or buy your own gun and place. This is nice, but visually you notice little or nothing.

The combat system is rather unique. Most RPGs focus on swords and the like. This does not Resonance of Fate. You only can use guns. There is a distinction between small arms and machine guns. Machine guns do because "scratch damage '. This means that no direct damage is done. It weakened as it were the opponent, because if you it with a handgun hits, it takes more remarkable damage to endure. The battle itself is not really turn based. You can control a character and his time is up or move is done, then you immediately with the next character to work. The enemies do not wait, so it may be that you're in the middle of your action strikes your very move which failed.

This is not the only special thing about the combat system. So you can still Hero moves and execute a Tri-Attack. If you run a Hero move, your character will walk to a certain point. While he is doing this, you can shoot and much, much more you can barely hit the enemy. This move is very essential if you want to win. You can not just execute him. Every time you move out or a Hero when you hit, you lose a Bezel Shard. If it on, then you might as well pack up. Your characters will indeed be very gepanikeerd get and can barely fight. You have to see that you always keep a Bezel Shard. This earn back through monsters to hit very good or killing them.

The Tri-Attack is the most powerful attack in the game. If you run it correctly, then all characters a certain area which attacks the enemy that there is a lot of damage. It sounds much easier than it is. You have had a sufficient resonance point. This gives you a Hero by which you move the file between your two other characters run. Then you see all the characters stand around in a triangle on the enemy. If all else fails, you can perform the move. However, this is very difficult, making it long before you move through it. You do not get tutorial or similar. You need to figure out where the manual is and we encourage you to thoroughly through it, because as you note, the combat system is very entertaining but also very complex.

Graphically the game performs moderately. The environment is very original and the steampunk atmosphere is really good. This captures the mediocre quality part, but it could have done much better. During the fighting seems slightly better graphics quality, especially during a move or a Hero Tri-Attack. Yet we regularly disturbed graphic weaknesses and the quality of the cut scenes or the hair of some characters that looked like a cheap wig. The emotions of the characters are usually lost, which harms the atmosphere. Yet the quality is not bad, but the current graphics quality of games like God of War III or Uncharted 2 will soon feel your frustrations arise.

The audio is not perfect. Fortunately, you can also choose to put voices in Japanese, but the voice acting is not really credible. So your character will occasionally evident in panic, while the tone of voice suggests that he is bored with it. On the soundtrack and background we were again very satisfied. These fit very well in each case relating to the situation and may well reinforce any sense. It will not prevent you a lot of quiet time to come, because there will always be a cog turning a pipe or steam jet.

Resonance of Fate combines a fun and original story with a great combat system. The fact that you always play with guns is something different. The learning curve is long and difficult, so many gamers will be discouraged to play this game. If you finally battle system under your belt, you will find that resonance of Fate very entertaining and addictive. The game takes the top level, but you can reassure him a very good sub-topper call!

Red Faction: Guerrilla review

The demolition of things every boy is in the blood, especially if someone being young, but nowadays it quickly identified as vandalism and the consequences are usually quite unpleasant. Yet you want your skills as a real man being a little intimated and what would it be if it could without any problems? How fantastic! Physical things demolition because they ventured in recent times much less, more virtual, and that is precisely one of the strengths on the next possession game. Wrecking in Red Faction: Guerrilla is like it is very common, but there is more than demolition and that we explain to you its fine.

To begin at the beginning, we look first to the story is about and where this part comes first name Alec Mason then upstairs. This is a rough guy who decides to go to Mars and to go there as a miner to earn his living. He is there waiting for his brother, who for years does, but entirely unfortunate, his brother killed, and Alec unwillingly involved in some kind of battle between the Red Faction and the EDF (Earth Defense Force). Yes, you read that right. Unintentionally. His brother was already a member of the Red Faction Alec before his death and tries to persuade, but Alec is on Mars just do his job properly and not interfere with what the rest are off playing.

Soon he comes into a given situation, then he has little choice but to join the Red Faction and that's a good thing. Alec Mason, so you will be an important role in the fight against the EDF! At that time you get acquainted with the enormous surface of Mars. The developer, Volition, has created a decent open game world and game world is divided into a number of different areas. Each area has its own atmosphere and infrastructure, and these areas are all in the hands of the EDF, but since they are such a little dictator to hang his main goal was quite simple. Taking over the areas on Mars in order to drive the EDF.

The EDF is aware of the opposition group and therefore trying on all fronts to the Red Faction to suppress. However, raw and passionate you are, you will do everything to take to Mars in order to create an area where it may be just a decent living without the panting of the EDF in your neck. In these areas a lot to do and that's a good thing. In total the game has only 20 main missions, which will render the areas that you can win. For these main missions, you'll occasionally do some of your stuff need to do to your moral values on screwing. This stuff are present in large numbers, and unlike other such games are very cool to do.

This is because they consist of different things, one that is common is the demolition of important buildings EDF. Everywhere on Mars to find many buildings, which belong to the EDF and this varies from small to large buildings and building simple it is to you to the ground. Here there is a but and that is building a bigger, more security will be present. The demolition of these buildings are many ways: ram it with your hammer to loosen or C4 position. You can use many variations to a building to the ground to make and you bet this fat. Here is your tendency to destroy up and move quickly to demolish one building after another.

The demolition of buildings is not the only stuff what to do, far from it. It's common for one of your fellow Red Faction members abducted and under high surveillance is questioned. People who belong to your organization, who are you not that easy to abandon, no, you go free while this will certainly have something useful to violence. The EDF is now silent and will not attack you at times that they seem clever, but if you quickly spot you could help repel the attack. Only a few of the possibilities that the game will feature missions. The game features plenty of things to do and therefore you will also pretty much time in the single market by.

Stuff these games are a lot of fun in addition to very effective, as this provides the necessary increase in on the morality meter and also Salvage. This is some stuff that you take the necessary upgrades and new weapons you can buy more and better rendering. Especially the new weapons you will probably laugh at the destruction of the sadistic you take damage. What are these weapons that we will change for a time not tell, that you discover yourself, the game is really just pick it up. Are you nevertheless still not convinced, then you just read.

Demolition of buildings and objects can of course means one of your weapons, but much more fun it is to full speed with a vehicle to drive somewhere inside. Additionally, this can also come in handy again during the missions, but that aside. It is remarkable to see how faithfully the damage looks when something demolished. Fairly early in the game at some point you will have the opportunity to drive a mech, you know, from the demo. Try with a mech to walk through a building. Beautiful, you look after the left and right wall and perhaps is still on the roof. Give then saw a tap on one of the main relay and voila the building collapsed like a pack of cards.

What is also a useful aspect of the demolition is that Mars is a pretty uneven area and that certain places during a mission sometimes higher than other areas. In order to maintain security, the majority being surrounded by a wall and the lower building to reach you at all breaks or drive, or just demolish the wall. Perfect right? The game places the player absolutely no restrictions on what the demolition of the area concerned and you're in love. Black and titles like Battlefield: Bad Company are dwarfed by this game. Red Faction Guerrilla shows how to do it and that is one of the strongest points of this game.

A somewhat less strong point is that Mars looks pretty bare. Now it is always difficult for a planet of that caliber a nice look, there's nothing there. While traveling in the areas on the red planet is everywhere buildings ranging from small to big and go anywhere you see what roads are well paved and unpaved. On these roads you'll encounter necessary for vehicles and hikers, but really much more like that you will not find them. Of course you can also see the large open plains on Mars, but the only thing it used to quickly get from A to B ride. But it gives all a bit of a lifeless feeling, maybe something with a sequel yet to tinker.

What also does not really put together superior compared to the great action, not everything here is graphically stunning happens. Thus the collapse of a building is very cool to watch, but really a huge mess up with nothing on, even in huge buildings. Also the dust after the collapse, but short-lived. Not really something to lie awake, but it is something ... This may be because the game constantly is calculating what the collapse of, any collapse and demolition action is different and it will become much power from the console questions. If we listen to the audio, we are very positive, now the in-game audio pretty standard called, but the music pulled me personally in any way really.

Enough about the single player, if you still do not know, but then you download the demo now! Time to look at other possibilities of the game to watch. Besides an extensive single-player where you get the necessary fun out there's a multiplayer. There are two multiplayer modes, which one of the "Wrecking Crew" hot. Here you get a limited time and this time you enough damage and the other must be trying to outdo. The other mode is a multiplayer ordinary. Here you can play various traditional games such as Capture the Flag. This in itself is not special, but what gives the big difference is that you can use the environment.

You may like an idiot nice to pop anything that moves, but it's much nicer to look at a nice opponent to bet on when the environment through you for his death makes. You bet you will enjoy lots of fun in multiplayer by the destructive environment inherits an extra dimension and slightly more unique than other multi-players within the same genre. And this brings us to the end of this relatively long review. It is clear that both single and multiplayer enough to give you the next time with entertainment. Before we assign a grade, and the plus and minus points are just listing the conclusion you are first reading.

Red Faction: Guerrilla, a resurgence of a franchise that in part two hopelessly adrift. The first part was very ambitious, and the second part was, as already indicated in the preceding sentence, a hopeless game. Red Faction: Guerrilla allows you to see what this franchise really is and the many possibilities for demolition provide a great experience. Graphically, the game is nicely although some areas had been in a bit more. The music is very nice to call and the gameplay, well, the game is bursting with good gameplay. Both in single and multiplayer. Red Faction: Guerrilla after you purchase a good game richer. I'm going to demolish!

BlazBlue: Calamity Trigger review

The Street Fighter franchise is one of the biggest names in the 2D world, but that does not detract from other fighting games are certainly unprecedented level. One of these games is therefore BlazBlue. This game is perhaps the best of its kind currently listed. The makers of this game had already been responsible for the Guilty Gear franchise, and the basis is in BlazBlue, but obviously with a different decoration and reflects the same high quality. It is the first part of this and similar high level and a good fighting game, we can always use. The positive tone is at least put.

The game begins with a nice intro video that are typically Japanese, partly because the music and the visual style and once we arrived in the menu is quite a separate affair. Thus, in the first stylish and very few options if we click then we quickly gothic music, which made us think of Castlevania: Lament of Innocence. That does not alter that it fits in a certain way in this game. The visual style of the menu is at once separate, efficient and fine and the audio level of support we have not seen before.

That characterizes BlazBlue or as an eccentric game that even non-usual combinations still very great before we even started playing. As regards the game play is concerned, it knows where the necessary options to choose from. Some are as standard and not particularly in terms of content and extensive and well stocked. So we can go try out moves and combos, all sorts of learning through the training mode, which is nice and simple works. In addition, we can battle in Arcade mode, which we continuously against another fighter moved to and every time the opponent you must defeat to progress.

Besides these modes we can further against the computer in a normal game to get if you extracted the online mode on. Where the real gaming is in the story mode. This is a fighting game developed quite extensively, because the game has a decent story, mainly through text is explained in detail. Besides that, there are moments when the text is spoken and these are supported with anime avatars. The storytelling itself is not really special, but typical Japanese called. It is so bad that sometimes you just five minutes or more text is read. If you've had once you get the conversations between the characters more, which are then recorded.

The story mode is perhaps one of the nicest features in the game when your friends are free, but sometimes disturbing that the amount of text is very time consuming. You would of course continue to keep fighting and then the story takes the pace a bit, but nevertheless it is amusing to mention and that is the key. Besides the large amount of modes, there is also an option which the name "Gallery" bears. This is nothing but a collection of content, what you see in the story mode and unlocked later viewing. Always fun, especially for the die-hard players. Count the audiovisual aspect and you have basically a good game.

The audiovisual aspect, as we have briefly hinted of good level. Visually, the game completely in a cell-shaded anime style and it looks neat. The environments are pretty ranging from one another and the same applies to the characters that you're to get started. The audio is the same as to describe. Perhaps music using organs not quite what you would expect in a game like this, but no less bold. This also raises BlazBlue a certain extent in terms of distinctiveness compared to other similar fighting games. The developer has not taken the most common choices as the audio, but fortunately, this very well in the paint.

Then there is the last course of gameplay, by far the most important thing in a game like this and here we are on a short but powerful. The gameplay is very strong, but you still more portray this issue we look at some more extensive. The gameplay of BlazBlue and we mean of course the fight is something you can easily pick up, but if you want to understand, then it will cost a lot of time and effort. Not so much because it's difficult, but because it is simplistic and profound. With this we mean that if you can pick up the controller and you without too much trouble winning a battle. But sooner or later you'll encounter tougher opponents, where more knowledge is needed that is equal to the depth of the game.

If you truly comprehensive and bold combos to perform well then you have to understand the gameplay. Besides making combos in combat, you also be blocking and other movements to perform and a useful option here is to "cancel". With this feature, you can attack that will have any effect cancel, so the pace in terms of actual battles are nice stay inside. The gameplay: we can be even longer on talking, but it's also just perfectly fine. That in itself is funny, because the number of playable characters is not particularly high. The fact there are twelve, but these vary from one another so that it is also enough variety in that respect entails.

BlazBlue: Calamity Trigger is a little late from Europe, but may nevertheless be called a hit. The game is in terms of audio separately, but very stylish as is the visual aspect. The gameplay is extensive, thorough and easy and yet it all comes packaged in a full game modes and excellent pick up and play gameplay that takes time hours yet to fathom. The only downside is really the way the story is told in the story mode. This is all fairly slowly through the enormous amount of text, and thus the pace of the game gets. But in relation to this flaw the game has plenty of plus points, which is obviously positive for the final score.

Gameplay 9
Graphics 8 - 2D backlash. Decent art and high fps
Sound 8 - corny dubs
Overall 9.

Prince of Persia ps3 review

his latest title from the Prince of Persia franchise, the creators not continued with the existing story. We have a new prince, a new story and a fresh new look, but this is where Prince of Persia fans have been waiting for? Are they loyal to the award-winning gameplay and this game is called the Prince of Persia name worth? Let us quickly review these steps and flying carpet a good fly.

Indeed the story is a completely new and we have a new prince. And I'll be honest, the prince I might. He is not as serious as the previous one and also a good sense of humor. I got settled while playing a smile on my face and that is something I appreciate. The story begins with the prince is looking for in a fierce sandstorm Farah. Farah shows, so you come back later in the verhaaler, your ass, and it is laden with gold. Our prince is not a poor devil. During his quest he Elika against which to escape for a group of soldiers. The prince could not resist this beautiful woman to follow and chase.

During the chase begins, as it were a simple tutorial to the tricks of the Principality to learn Persian. You will gradually learn more and more how the prince to drive, but here you learn the basic advance. Climbing and scrambling looks superb and works very intuitively. If you run tegende walls, then jump to the other side and continue running against the other wall, then jump to a pole and then run again, sometimes seriously feels like you can fly. It works very smoothly and it looks great from another. This is already successful and just that aspect, Prince of Persia I found the best in the game Sands of Time.

For me the two parts then why not play and I appreciate this part more. After your short tutorial on climbing and climbing, you see that Elika into trouble. She is surrounded by a group of soldiers and may you and the honorable charmer that you're obviously not over you just let go. Get first to the battle system in Prince of Persia. The fighting system in Prince of Persia is not complicated, but extended. With box do you use your sword to your opponents filleting. With round you use your glove to your opponent's claws to grab and throw into the air. With cross acrobatic show you the tour or for example to avoid the opponent to cross it.

With the R2 button, the prince in a defensive posture to block attacks. If you timed it perfectly, then the defense of your opponent completely open to a counter attack. Then you have finally the triangle and it puts you to work Elika. You throw her towards the opponent and they will then use her magic to attack. So as you already have notes on magic Elika. It is essential not only for the story, but if you want to survive this adventure. Elika is a princess of the Ahura, a tribe which aims at the evil god Ahriman monitor.

The king of Ahura, the father of Elika, the Tree of Life can now cut down and thereby escape Ahriman. The country will turn into a gray, dark and dilapidated world, and this is what Ahriman need to fully escape his prison, where he stuck thousands of years. To stop Ahriman with Elika you must now clear the different areas of evil. There are like four zones, with all its own boss over this region. From the temple, where the story begins and where the State Life, which can first reach areas of the four zones. Get the first dealing with the four followers of Ahriman, those imprisoned with him, but already escaped.

All four areas have then a cluster of four zones and again when you have them removed then you can go to the last area of the zone once and for all an end to the respective follower of Ahriman. To move around a cluster to go Elika will first need a new power. After purification of an area changed it back into a beautiful landscape filled with orbs. You must collect these orbs, as these light bulbs do you need to force an unlock. So if you've collected enough orbs will return to the temple have to activate it. You're in a dream world right where you first use this force and it can get after it in the real world use them.

They are not forces such as shooting a fireball or lightning, but his strength with which you can use special plates. There are four different types and each leaves you in a different way through the area, and achievement points, which you would not otherwise reach. To each cluster to play you need two forces and there you have enough orbs of course is needed. If the area is still dark, you will spend most enemies and avoid defeat, but when you've cleared the whole area then you will again go through the orbs to collect. It sounds complicated, but if your game once you play will fully understand what I mean.

It's a really great game and Elika is extremely useful for the information regions to come. If you fall into the abyss or threatens to die, Elika will you collect or heal. So you can never die while Prince of Persia and it keeps the pace is good at. Also, you will no longer perform a double jump by another miraculous jump in the air, no, now you just jump and then press triangle so Elika you throw a bit further. This will be regulated and what is particularly important that you know what buttons do what. You'll often consecutively a fast pace to push different buttons to move forward in an area.

Prince of Persia with flying colors. The cell-shaded graphics fit perfectly into the dreamlike world where the story takes place and auditory hallucinations you, you govern in the tale of a thousand and one night. The steering is very smooth and you quickly master. It remains cool to see the prince running against walls and even ceilings and environment puzzles will never get bored. I can now say that Ubisoft has managed to be a worthy new Prince of Persia and to bring a completely new story and new prince totally inferior to the previous parts. I venture to say he has improved and that it is quite an achievement. Prince of Persia is really a must and a game that you can not miss in your collection.

Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands review

Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands: the game that goes back to where it all started once. Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time was once on the PlayStation 2 a cool new game that was rated very good. The two subsequent sections - Warrior Within and The Two Thrones - showed an increasingly darker side. Afterwards, he was Ubisoft with a cell-shaded Prince of Persia and over again were the cool parts, but the magic of The Sands of Time was great. Ubisoft The Forgotten Sands tries to continue the good elements of The Sands of Time, but they were successful? That you read below.

In Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands prince travels to the kingdom of his brother Malik, being attacked by many enemies. The prince travels to his brother on behalf of his father to go and help, and shortly after your arrival, it hopelessly wrong. Malik leaves the Sands of Time free and proposes that the ancient god Ratesh able to rise up with his army of undead created from sand. Contrary to what Malik goes expecting the army against him, because he looks like King Solomon Ratesh and he previously vowed to destroy the kingdom. By the Sand of Time was released, the amulet that inactivated split into two and both brothers ended.

Because both brothers are now a part, it is important for our prince to unite these two parts and it Ratesh against them, but Malik thinks only of the power he gets, and thus begins to lose confidence in his brother. What happens next you find yourself during the game, but we can say is that the story of this game is fun to put together. The story should not particularly attractive, because it is not really original. However, it fits well in the setting and what you need to do in this new adventure. And let this adventure are exactly what this game it should have.

In our hands-on we were a little critical of this game and that was largely because we felt that the soul is a bit lacking. Today is the final game is pretty surprised, indeed, where we first were critical, we now enjoy the game off. It is perhaps not as attractive as previous installments, but soulless is different. The sections in the vast palace that you are calling nicely put together and the whole gameplay is supported by beautiful appropriate music. In this respect, our great fear is well made and very fine.

The game itself consists of two parts: fighting and climbing and scrambling. The game begins with a nice cut-scene shortly thereafter and begin climbing and scrambling. That went so incredibly smoothly, the desire for more equal opborrelde if we just ended up in a fight. You can use the prince still run along walls, and a reluctant and then jump back and forth. All this is quite easy and within seconds you're one hundred meters higher. You can encounter all sorts of great rocks, ledges and more climbing. The prince may be somewhat unnatural acrobatic, but it feels good, and it looks good as the animations are concerned. Actually everything is just fine in that regard and as you go into the game, is still a lot more fun.

As you progress you get more options. So you'll soon have the opportunity to water stopping. If you do this then everything goes as usual, only the water freezes. Sometimes spraying water from a wall and if you freeze, you can swing this if you make a waterfall into a wall along which you can run. A thick beam from above can be used as a cornerstone for you to cling. This seems simplistic, but you can not always do, because there is a meter that runs until you empty the water still move. In addition, these moments later in the game a sort of puzzle where you must freeze the water, to let go and freeze the same again, otherwise you will not advance.

That is not the only thing going up and scramble to make a puzzle in itself. If you're well over half of the game you also get the opportunity to further parts of walls to recover, which usually had collapsed. But this can only in part. If you then a "retrieved" and you have to piece is a piece that you still need to recover, then you must do so during your jump. This combined with the freezing of water makes it sometimes a challenge. Yet, all this so quickly that you have little to no frustration, and that in itself is an art. Add to this that another puzzle element in our hands-on session pretty annoying were also resolved.

Where we previously have had huge problems with turning levers in the circle is now much less. Totally illogical way, the controller for that matter, but it is much better. What is also very nice - which is especially important in the fighting - is the possibility to upgrade your skills. Frequently you have to fight many different enemies and each time you defeat enemies, this gives you some points. If you have an x number of points, then you can go to a grid point and an exchange of experience. This experience points you get through many enemies. You can experience more points into health, but also for special attacks.

In total you get next to you stand (and further extend) the possibility of sword attacks four magic attacks. This allows you during a fight, assuming we have the four magic "bought" have a number of stone evoke hover around you and serve temporarily as extra armor. In addition, you get a firm magic on the floor, causing the enemies fall. Ice is used to a frozen path for you to create, so that any enemy who comes into contact will receive an additional blow. Finally there is a fiery attack, which also necessary to deliver to the adverse effects enemies.

The combat system is not very deep. Warrior Within had such a huge extensive schedule of combos, but this part of this is addressed. Nice simple fighting with the square and the four key points for magic attacks. Besides a low blow you can get a solid distribution and that's it. Yet the fight is not boring because you combine your magical attacks with each other and in addition you can also use some of your agility in the fighting. The battles themselves are again interspersed with climbing and scrambling, and overcoming the many traps and puzzles by other elements, such as freezing.

In totality, the entire single player nothing more than a fine adventure. It plays wonderfully smooth way, the music sounds great in the ears, and visually see the animations are neat. Graphically, the cut-scene at the beginning impressive, but soon afterwards you notice that the game graphics are not really much to offer. The game is also not a masterpiece, but far from ugly. Nevertheless the overall picture is fine. It is very unfortunate that we are eight hours or by the single previously. Experienced players will likely again start at the highest difficulty level. In addition, the challenge mode just for fun, but keep it up.

Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands: A game that all the positive things from The Sands of Time reused with new elements and that worked out well. If you're a fan, then this is a great title. The only criticism is that it is a shame that the game is not very long and that if you have him off you're ready with it. The game has some replay value, but that is not enough for the majority of players to keep playing and that is unfortunate. Another downside is that it visually all one piece could have been better. Take your love for these points than is Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands a very nice title that certainly the fans and non-fans may delight from beginning to end.

Grand Theft Auto: Episodes from Liberty City review

Grand Theft Auto IV is next Tuesday, exactly two years ago. The game is to this day much, but if you have not done recently, then you now have an additional reason for you to travel back in Liberty City. The two exclusive episodes for Grand Theft Auto IV, which appeared earlier on the Xbox 360, are now available for the PlayStation 3, which means that we both like Johnny Klebitz Luis Lopez to experience an adventure!

For a reasonable price, you get to Liberty City Episodes From a pair of games, which in terms of gameplay or shorter than Grand Theft Auto IV, but a lot more fun. You play in the Lost and Damned Johnny Klebitz. He's a biker and for some time been the leader of the motorcycle club The Lost, because the real boss in prison. You enter the game when the real boss returns to the club. However, there is a difference between the two. Johnny is someone who is tough, but the club have kept running without too many people to them. The real boss, Billy, is more the butt face of the fright and not back from two heavy guns at the slightest provocation.

This difference allows for a gradual split between the two and that will eventually break. The result for us as players in an interesting story that is more interesting than the ones we know from the regular game, so with Nico. The adventure consists of twenty missions run by the story primarily revolves around Johnny and Billy and since they are bikers get the game (GTA IV is) a completely different face. Where you are as an immigrant Nico the brutal thief and hang yourself reprocesses, Johnny is a respected person within the club and the way of approach is also different from the Lost in a Luis Nico or the case.

We will not go too deep on the story of The Lost and Damned go. The only thing we have to lose like substance that is very strong and it fits together for a special dimension in Liberty City. Johnny beside you in Episodes From Liberty City to work also in The Ballad of Tony Gay, but as Luis Lopez. He is a tough guy who has the right of the nightclub owner Tony Prince. Tony is gay man and the owner of two trendy clubs in town and Tony is in itself a great comic character, but despite that he is an art that he has two successful clubs have been set up, because really useful, he is not .

Behind Luis, Tony some matters that are not really smart. Tony is too cumbersome to solve this yourself so you can pay for it as Luis. This in turn produces different and varied missions and the best thing is of course the movies you get in between. Here are the most backward past figures, highlighted by Amir Yusuf. This guy will often double up with laughter and leave to set the right tone of The Ballad of Tony Gay. This expansion is more a humorous variation on the dark gray and The Lost and Damned. Both episodes fits well with the current GTA IV and the different personalities and style of play is extremely entertaining.

Both episodes show you Liberty City from a different perspective and what Rockstar has once again get together for a fantastic atmosphere. Each part in the franchise has a good atmosphere, but these episodes are still jumping above it, especially The Ballad of Tony Gay is great. Just to the story, the many dialogues and the atmosphere is worth it, despite being a bit late. The nice thing about these episodes is that they occur in parallel with the story of GTA IV, Niko so. This culminated in a mission that you play three times. Have you played GTA IV? You know the mission established by the museum in the park yet.

This mission is quite broad because what you do in the first instance with Niko experienced this mission you will play with Johnny again and again with Luis. Additionally you get the necessary characters to which you previously in other games already have been displayed. Because all parallel Rockstar knows a special experience to put down. Everything is alright and with each other and once you start then you're the world of GTA IV is particularly ingenious in terms of storytelling. Broadly there is also precious little to notice these extensions. One positive aspect is that at least more worthwhile than the story of GTA IV, so that in itself says enough.

But this is not the only, because in addition to a storyline that both episodes have been there to do the necessary zijmissies. If you like Luis to work with you as a thief with some old mates here and there disturbed drug shipments and transfers. If Johnny can participate in rough motorcycle, where weapons are not avoided. Also, the simple things like take a measure to different locations to entertain yourself not forget, you can play darts, bowling, pool, golf and even play Air Hockey. Through these things, combined with the trophies to achieve, you quickly each episode one hour or twenty to thirty working, especially if you are someone who likes 100% on the screen.

The single player is that despite all this shows is definitely worth it. It's fun, gives a different face to the city and is particularly pretty extensive. Certainly something that initially a simple extension. If only there were more of these extensions, but hey, that aside. Besides an entertaining single-player game, this course also multiplayer. This multiplayer is a bit on the single episode of the set, at least in the Lost and Damned. So you get in The Lost and Damned the possibility of motorcycle racing which involved weapons. This is a fun mode and the one where you must flee your engine while another you from the air with a helicopter to crash into the afterlife. The Ballad of Tony Gay is not special modes, such as The Lost and Damned are thus in that respect it is a shame.

The fact remains that in the multiplayer of The Ballad of Tony Gay also plenty to offer. All in all, it's a disc full of funny material, and perhaps it would have been nice if there is a special The Ballad of Tony Gay multiplayer mode, but we can live with that. What is annoying is that both episodes have a private online area. If you're in The Ballad of Tony is gay, then you may close it and The Lost and Damned before you start the special modes of that episode to play. This means you constantly change, especially if you're an avid player and multiplayer which is unfortunate.

Ultimately Episodes From Liberty City if it were something you should get GTA fan instantly. Newcomers, we recommend this, because both stories are fantastic, the whole market is huge and the atmosphere is above all very entertaining. The cost of the package are not too high in proportion to the number of hours gameplay is, it was all worth it. Want to see more of Liberty City, then you got to see in GTA IV, then this will be an additional reason for Episodes From Liberty City to purchase. Believe us, despite what it may appear earlier, it was twice over your hard-earned money.

Bayonetta review

ttention: This review was made with the PS3 patch that fixes the framerate and adds HDD option to my 320 GB HDD. Release date January 28, 2010.

In 1971, scored the band Led Zeppelin a huge hit with the song "Stairway to Heaven '. It sings singer Robert Plant, the sentence:" And she's buying a Stairway to Heaven. That's all well and good, of course, but after we Bayonetta have but we think there suddenly very differently. In the game you play because of a witch, as the title suggests, is called Bayonetta and her memory is lost. Hundreds of years, she sat in a box and is now awake, but without memory. Searching for answers, she is haunted by angels, in contrast to what we are told that angels are anything but peaceful. We accompanied her on the quest for answers and now have the review for you!
Before we elaborate on issues such as: the gameplay, audio, graphics and play like we can already say this. Yes, the game has some technical problems, but if you have a PlayStation 3 game and want to buy? Do not be frightened by what critics do not all say about the PlayStation 3 version of the game, because some tiny dots after it is still a great experience. Anyway we obviously have to explain why the game is so good and that is exactly what we do. Get ready for a game like you've never seen before and show that you have in your dreams will follow! Each game starts somewhere, however, so we just go off to the story to.
Bayonetta is set in the fictional city called Vigrid, this city is not entirely fictitious. As you probably know Bayonetta has a lot to do with mythology and the name of the city is not simply chosen. Vigrid is because from the Norse mythology, it represents the battlefield where the gods fought the giant black Sartre. The fictional European town Vigrid looks like a battlefield between giants and gods. Some own more than condominiums. Although they themselves do not exactly know Bayonetta is a member of the Umbra Witches, an old women from existing clan. They have magical powers which they draw from the Mon On the other hand, the Sages Lumen clan, a group of men who draw strength from the Sun
Together they hold a treasure called "The Eyes of the World '. One clan is "The Left Eye ', the other course," The Right Eye. " Light and Darkness, Day and Night, you understand that these are in balance. Naturally things go wrong and on and treasure the days disappear and a war breaks out between two clans and kill each other. To make matters worse, Bayonetta and her partner Jane have also been attacked by so-called 'Angels' that appear to come from heaven. Fighting on a broken piece of church introduces the game with your story and your character. After a wild roller coaster ride was suddenly dark and starts the game in modern times. Bayonetta hundreds of years appears to have sat in a box and has already been twenty years among us, now it's your turn.
A fairly early so hectic and one you will not soon forget. Bayonetta is a third-person action game where the concept of 'action' more than present. The control of the game is pretty simple on the surface, but as you get more moves and weapons unlocked quite deep. The game can be played off by just button bash, but gamers looking for but the hottest and coolest moves weapons can very deeply with Bayonetta. Of course, you buy weapons and moves to something and that you are called halos. These are the large gold rings that float above the heads of angels, only here you chop their heads off and take you into the halo. Then you visit your good friend and arms dealer who Rodin at the gate of hell is waiting for your halos.
Not everyone will just visit the gates of hell, but we've already told you that Bayonetta is a devil? Lumen The Sages are namely the gate of heaven, the Umbra Witches are those of hell. Got it? Good, then we can continue our Bayonetta Devil. The witch has a good range of moves and weapons ready to help you and not even close. When it has weapons on its limbs, both her hands to her feet as she guns. There are also weapons like a sword, a spear, an ax and so on. The most dangerous weapon of hers is still the alluring black hair and that's no joke. Were you always curious why its so good care of their women? We have the answer here!
Bayonetta is because her shiny hair transform into disgusting creatures such as giant fists, boots and a number of creatures including a dragon and a giant bird. As she does we see something remarkable and that is that the black suit that also has to Bayonetta locks is made! The genitals are just mind, but she is practically nude sample of a three storey banging into each other, action was never this good. In addition to these weapons is also a very cool feature and the "Torture Attacks. If Bayonetta namely a number of enemies defeated without being touched there is a full bar, at some point, the player the triangle and circle button and may be performed Torture Attack.
These attacks are very diverse and different enemies will also appear special. Thus Bayonetta a gallows where she calls her opponent bonjourt or a box full of spikes where an angel is depressed. There are about a dozen different Torture Attacks and they are all equally fun. Of course it is even more fun when it different enemies can exert Platinum Games deserves praise for creativity and imagination! Itself at the very end of the game, the player still new enemies, they all have different names and characteristics. So you have enemies that can fly and have a spear, a large kind of lizard that fire balls shooting, flying rays with pointed tails, flying creatures as big as buildings with traditional chiefs, and so on.
Of course there are plenty of bosses back at the end or midway a chapter reports should be. It all starts with one being about as big as a house and from there it is just bigger, stronger, narrower and more difficult for the absurd to it. The best trick is the fact that first you are very impressed by the first boss, but then you just fight against three at a time in a little later in the game and then again overwhelmed by a still greater being. So you see the progress as a player that you and your character books. If a being a bit too strong, but it is slow then you also have the opportunity to "Witch Time" to use. Indeed if the player evades an attack just in time with R2, then slows down time here and you're faster.

Make no mistake in Bayonetta, because it's not like you go from one room to the other enemies to run a cup size. You will have many hurdles to overcome, and these vary from running over a waterfall to the running of a church while it falls down. This may sound crazy, but wait till you play the game and we seem suddenly not so crazy. As we previously said, Bayonetta is a spectacle from start to finish and gives you little time to rest. Because the steering is so nice smooth keep you busy and you are motivated to overcome every obstacle again. Some obstacles, like in slow motion of a falling wall to another falling wall jump, are just too much for our human Bayonetta. Therefore this kind of situation can also further transform into a panther or a crow. The panther is very fast and the crow can fly over unfathomable depths.

Bayonetta is typical of the sexual undertones that contains the game constantly. Each time you back here to laugh at a crazy move at a critical moment. So she suddenly pole dancing with a giant hatchet, or is it deliberately with legs spread right in the picture. And we have not even had the lollipop, always has a lollipop in her mouth Bayonetta her any extra energy. The way they do thing, however, to keep it clean, consuming to say the least challenging. Platinum Games in the men do like a touch of humor. The game certainly has a serious undertone, but the seductive Bayonetta makes it often very funny. The other characters sometimes take a naughty joke.

Graphic Bayonetta has a special and magical style. The game has very nice lighting effects and the characters look convincing. Although the game is something of a character like stijltje conservation. The eye care environments, and with much attention in the game process. They come at you a magnificent Colosseum, a large church, an underground maze or a paradise in cheerful colors. The game is generally well cared for, but unfortunately we can not ignore the problems around the PlayStation 3 version entails. Now and then have absolutely no frame rate drops and load times at the oddest places. This is the momentum of the game not as good and even the start menu includes a loading screen can even be frustrating.

Load times can be found everywhere in fact Bayonetta, whether you pick an item, want to load the start menu or simply anywhere wraps around the corner. Not that every corner you have a loading screen, but sometimes it just happens that a few seconds to load while being chased by a lava flow. That does not mean that the game has become a great experience. Partly due to the beautiful sound of the game. The music has a feminine elegance, but can sometimes care for a serious undertone. Platinum Games wanted a female character is also female accompaniment of music, something that they certainly succeeded. The sound of rain, falling rocks, lava, water and tunes as you pick up such a sacred object are excellent.

As a final remark can perhaps be called the camera a tad annoying to do, but fortunately you have the opportunity to R3 with the camera quickly to place the butt of Bayonetta. Overall the game is just well cared for, it looks good, sounds good and plays well. Unfortunately the present loading times so that it can be frustrating. It does not spoil the experience, but after playing the 360 version, we had to conclude that PlayStation 3 version is clearly inferior. There are also very occasionally some of the previously mentioned frame rate problems.
On whether we hit the first of 2010 I have with a resounding: yes. Bayonetta certainly has agreements with Devil May Cry, but has chosen to simultaneously complete a separate identity. With a great character, a beautiful world and large numbers of enemies present, this is a game you played as a fan of action games should be. Yes, the game has some problems, but what would it if you can fight against monsters that are greater than your own home? So you have a PlayStation 3 Bayonetta and you want to play? Do not be stopped by the equations you found on the Internet, because the Sony console Bayonetta is a game of epic proportions. Hideki Kamiya may again be proud of himself and his team!

Final Fantasy X review

I believe that Final Fantasy X is the last game from Square that is really, awesomely good. It was all downhill after they joined Enix, in my opinion (I hope Final Fantasy XIII redeems them). Even FF12 was only average, to me. Anyway, this game is fantastic. Why? Well, let's find out!

Graphics (score 10/10): The graphics are really excellent for the PS2. I believe this game boasts the second-best graphics on the PS2, next to Final Fantasy XII. Although FFXII has the technically better graphics, FFX has much more creative and unique environments, so it's more graphically impressive to me. I guess it's kind of the difference between staring at a shimmering forest made out of crystalline trees and filled with iridescent swirls of light versus a big field filled with...grass...and just grass. So, FFX makes very good use of the graphical capabilities that it does have.

Music (score 10/10): Excellent, just excellent. The music is really quite beautiful, with my favorite song being "To Zanarkand". I even went and bought the soundtrack. And yes, I even like the song "Otherworld", which I've heard some people hated. Now, as for the voice acting... I thought it was great. Why do so many people hate on the voice acting for this game? I really can't figure it out. Other than the scene where Tidus and Yuna engage in fake laughter (it's cringe-worthy, trust me, but at least it doesn't last very long), the voice acting is top notch. I really found no faults with it. If you want to hear truly awful voice acting, listen to some scenes from the first Grandia game (on a side note, I got slaughtered with unhelpful votes for my review on that game; go figure).

Characters (score 10/10): Characterizations are excellent; everyone has a distinct personality and is well-portrayed. I know that everyone likes to complain about Tidus being a "crybaby" and whatnot, but I don't really think that's the case. To me, he's a realistic protagonist. With Final Fantasy 7 and 8, you had protagonists who were already used to battle, and who already had military training. It makes sense that they were used to dealing with stress (whether they actually handled that stress well is arguable, though, but that just makes them that much more interesting as protagonists). Tidus is just an average guy who is suddenly thrown into extraordinary events. In this light, I think his reactions (and subsequent narrations) are very realistic and appropriate for his character. I mean, he was living the good life before (he was a star athlete and living well, for the most part); why wouldn't he be unhappy about getting thrown into a world, which, through his eyes, must've seemed very inferior to what he just came from?! In fact, if he had immediately adopted a hung-ho, "this is so much fun" attitude, I would have found it very questionable. That being said, if he had been excessively whiney, it would've been annoying, but I don't really think that he is. As for the other characters, they all have subtle nuanced personalities, with the standout character being Yuna. So much of the story has to do with her, and she is extremely well developed. I love the fact that this game actually gives us a female character who is quiet, mature, and actually wears clothing that covers her breasts. Seriously, I get so sick of game developers thinking that all female characters must show cleavage, so it's awesome that Yuna actually has a real personality and isn't just eye candy. Not that eye candy is always bad or anything, it's just that I like to have some variety. I really love Yuna though because she is such a strong character without being a stereotypical gun-toting bad-ass female. She simply has a strong will and is dedicated to her morals and beliefs without being closed-minded. To me, she embodies what a "strong female character" should be rather than what Hollywood thinks that term means (ex. Large busted, cleavage exposing woman who wields guns). Once again, I have nothing against seeing that kind of portrayal once in a while, but there needs to be other kinds of heroines too. Too bad they ruin the good thing that they have going here in X-2, the sequel (see my review of that if you want to see how they screw over these fine characters). Whew, enough of my soap box. Overall, I think the characters are excellent, and yes, I even loved Tidus.

Story (score 10/10): This game's story is just awesome. It's one of the best RPG stories ever told, in my opinion. At its core, it's about a group of people coming to question the things that they have always believed in. I really enjoyed the themes of questioning traditional power structures and religious doctrine that is in place in the world of Spira, as well as themes of sacrifice, death, and hope. I don't know if the developers intended this, but you could almost interpret this story to be critique of real-world religions. The game even deals with the idea of prejudice in it's portrayal of the Al-Bhed. On top of these fine thematic elements, the plot keeps you engaged with various twists, culminating with the biggest twist of all at the end of the game. I'm not going to spoil that just in case you haven't played this game, but suffice it to say, it was so emotionally gripping that I actually cried at the end. Well, the story is awesome. What more can I say?

Battle System (score 10/10): The battle system is pretty unique compared to previous Final Fantasy games. Of course, I'm not talking about the turn-based fights; they're pretty similar. I'm talking about the ability to switch party members in the middle of battle. In previous FFs, you pretty much picked a party of three people and stuck to them, never using any other characters. In FFX, they actively discourage this by making each party member have very specific strengths and weaknesses, and having a variety of enemies that require everyone's skills. The fact that you need to switch people mid-battle to accommodate for different enemy types means that you really need to use everyone equally. This is a nice change of pace from the older games, although I still like doing it the old way equally well too.

Gameplay (score 10/10): This is a bit of a catch-all category for me. Let's see...FFX is very well paced in difficulty level, the controls and camera angle are good, and there's a wealth of interesting sidequests to take part in. Overall, I'm pretty happy with it. My only small complaint would be that I wish there was a way to skip cut scenes. It's annoying to have to sit through a long cut scene again when you have to re-do a boss battle. Other than that, no complaints at all.

Overall (score 10/10): NOTE this score is not an average; it's my subjective overall score. FFX is a fine and excellent game. In my opinion, FFX is one of the best RPGs out there, and definitely should be added your collection if you're an RPG fan. And for its (currently) cheap price, you can't afford to pass this one up!

Castlevania: Lords of Shadow review

you also pretty spectacular finish. Then start your real adventure and that brings a lot of cool stuff with it. So you fight against a lot of different enemies, highlighted by huge bosses. Those bosses are all very difficult to beat, so do not look weird in that you soon twenty minutes doing. These fights are not only fun, but it also usually necessary for the new attributes. The attributes can then be used again later in the game against other bosses and enemies and the environments to a new path to create for yourself.

The fighting goes through different weapons. So you have a kind of sword at your disposal to work a bit like God of War III. This weapon will find a lot, but it does not. You can also throw knives and of course the famous cross betting. This cross can gradually upgrade and eventually find them both fight like that you can use in the environment such as a grappling hook. Besides, there are other weapons that work well on certain enemies, and additional experience points you earn this. These can then be redeemed for new opportunities for Gabriel or his weapons.

On a known and common concept. All this works fine through a handy menu, where you can attract many new features purchase. It is important to continuously upgrade, because many enemies are not all that easy to beat. Usually you fight against small enemies as you kill them, but they are again aided by a large copy of this and they are pretty dangerous. Besides that you'll catch, they have still have enough health to do it especially difficult to make. You'll have as many weapons as possible and like to have available to you through the upgrade options and also because they have to play tactically.

You will have many blocks, rolls and combos have found a great enemy small gain. Here are occasionally also has the requisite quick time events look. This is something really not hard to imagine from today's titles, but a bit different from the rest is a little variation to be found. Of course you will encounter the appropriate moments where you usually hard on a particular button to rams, but in addition, the variant found quite fun. This variant is a circle on the screen and surrounded by a large circle. This is becoming smaller and when it fits within the other circle, you push a button. Primarily a matter of good timing so.

They are especially many standard elements Castlevania: Lords of Shadow knows in fighting, but of course in its own design. Magic may of course be there and this game has two types. One type is "magic light" and other "dark magic". With the magic light you can heal yourself while you're fighting, what is so useful in difficult opponents. The dark magic is also very convenient because it does more damage. As usual, the magic of limited availability and you will therefore have to supplement it. This goes back through orbs that enemies leave behind after you've slain them. Both magical abilities are perfect in the whole and make the battle system completely.

In terms of fighting, there is plenty of opportunities exist in this game and the many times when you are fighting are interspersed with other elements. So you come here and there against a puzzle, which never really be too difficult and the necessary climbing and scrambling are not lacking in this game. You will regularly up and down to climb over ledges, and swing through your grappling hook and many more. This is relatively easy climb and climb and keep the great variation in the game. This also applies to the environments that this game contains, for the variation in this respect is certainly enormous.

One moment Banjer you through a swamp and the next moment you walk in the snow and then back into the jungle to arrive. The game is similar in very diverse environments, because it follows another in rapid succession and the best is that every environment is really visually stunning looks. Indeed, this title fits perfectly in the list of current graphic toppers. It is after Uncharted 2: Among Thieves not much happened before a game that we've seen of the same caliber graphics, just the cut scenes are in contrast with that game in this game a little less. Well, that's not the only positive aspect, because the audio is also world class.

The Soundtrack has always been very good at this game and PlayStation 2 in the moderate part, Castlevania: Lament of Innocense, the soundtrack is simply brilliant. To reassure you that this part is no different. Konami and Mercury Steam have this time used a different composer and knows this great music. We are also very impressed by the voice-acting and requires a number of familiar characters on, including Patrick Stewart. The right voices are used and that makes for very great atmosphere. It is exactly in the setting of the game and it's pretty convincing.

Castlevania: Lords of Shadow, the game that have to reboot the franchise. We asked first whether it had managed to operate the franchise back on the map, it has become clear. There is very little to criticize in the game, just that for some players on the difficult side, but yes, it's Castlevania. Furthermore, the gameplay well in order, it looks visually great and the audio is superb. Add to this that soon you're twenty one hour to go through the game again and it knows it necessary to replay value. Castlevania is back! And how! Every fan, skeptical or not, who can just blindly buy this game.

Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty review

Let me start off by saying this. Action game fans will be disappointed as there is more and emphasis on storyline and more cut-scenes than actual action(well not realyy but you get my point.) Rpg or adventure gamers more used to a deep storyline and stealth like action will have an absolute blast as I did.
First let me talk about the game characters. People going into this game thinking that you'll play the entire game as solid snake(like I did) will be sorely disappointed. There is a second character, while not as cool as solid snake, he gets the job done. This character has gotten universally panned on many game websites but he isn't as bad as people are saying. In other words don't let a fools opinion sway from buying or not buying the game. Buy it and form your own opinion.

Secondly let me talk about the storyline. It is as deep and as intricate as many major film releases and puts many others to shame. If your one of those people who had to see the Matrix twice to "get it" like I did. You'll need to play this game a few times and pay very close attention to every line of dialogue ever uttered in this masterpiece as you'll undoutedly be stumped by the many plot twists within the game, as they will leave your head spinning with amazement. The story is so good that it has a few thousand people posting theories on various parts of the game ,including the ending, on a bunch of different website messageboards. I mean good god how many works of fiction, let alone videogames, have had people posting theories on it. Bottom line great storyline.

Thirdly the second most important aspect of the game( the first being the storyline.) the gameplay. Many people will be turned off by it's dialogue heavey nature. They'll complain that you don't do anything. Well they can be happy playing games with a throwaway plot( cough Devil May Cry cough, great ACTION game though) but other people who enjoy a good story and great gameplay elements will love the game. There are so many memorable battles in this game like the fight against the new Metal Gear and a fight against a harrier jet that you'll want not only to play it again but collect all the secret items that go along with it. The sneaking around you have to do is so realistic it's scary at times. Another great new aspect to the gameplay is the ability to hold-up guards for their dogtags. Doing this allows you to colect secret items that give you the ability to become invisible(stealth to those "in the know") and the ability to have unlimited ammo. These game aspects encourage you to replay the game which gives this game ungodly amounts replay value, another game aspect that is important to me.

Bottomline anyone who wants to miss out on an awesome game experience just because you don't play as Snake the whole time or because you hate having to listen to storyline that puts many Hollywood productions to shame go ahead. The rest of us who enjoy great gameplay innovations and a deep plot will have quite possibly the greatest game experience of all time. And that's not a stretch of the imagination in any way.

Trivia: According to Wikia, Solid Snake has an IQ of 180 and is fluent in six languages and is the man who makes the impossible. possible!

Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater review 10

he jungle has reopened with a lot more than enough to go 'round
Pros:
-Excellent graphics
-Well done voice acting(Tho some of it is clieche'd/cheesey)
-Great background music(Even the James Bondish theme song has grown on me)
-the 3rd person camera is freakin' sweet!!(No more looking around in 1st person to find out where enemies are)
-fantastic sound effects
-A very destructive arsenal (along with the shotgun, the AK, and the gun that never runs out of ammo, the patriot!)
-One of the, if not the best plot in videogames(Plot twists hit you up, down, left right, sideways, diagonal, reverse, aw u get it! It's seriously much better than sitting through a class to find out about the Cuban missile crisis)
-I never liked hunting for food........till now
-A lot more camouflage offered than before
-Pretty realistic(Keeping a eye on everything: Health, Stamina, poison, cuts, and you gotta aim manually to get a good shot, unless you have the scorpion sub-machine gun(Laser sight, and the M-60 machine gun(Too big to aim through)
-Man Ocelot is so bad, he makes his crew look like natural born killers(Seriously, when I fought him, his troops gave me more of a problem than he did)
-Awwwww... Eva! When Snake is ever hurt, all he needs is some sexual healing(*Sigh* if only that really happened)
-Weird but excellent boss fights, like the old man with the baseball sized eyeballs.(But he can be iced early, just watch out for his wheelchair after assassination)
-Online is the shrimp in the rice. You can team up with people with team death match, capture, and rescue missions, or just flat out kill everyone in deathmatch mode.(And you can be a couple of rumble roses chicks, but ya gotta spend over 50 hours online, something I'm far from doing)
-More snake V.S. Monkey missions(I usually don't play em' much, but yea.)
-The limited edition version comes with a DVD which splices all the cutscenes together and makes it a 3 hour 55 movie, and has a trailer for Metal Gear Solid 4(Although if you have a limited edition version, it's best not to open them, if you know what I mean)
-No Radien, despite Snake is sometimes called Jack, which was Radien's name (I still don't get what was up with that?)
-Also included are the sequels, or rather the 2 games that came after this, Metal Gear and Metal Gear 2:Solid Snake(The 2 japanese versions that didn't come out in america; well the second anyway.)
-One of the best endings I've ever seen(Man, Kojima is just a genius. A prequel yet can beat out his earlier versions in endings)
The greatest prequel ever made, with the plot surpassing it's predecessors
The best Metal Gear Solid experience you can find when it comes to plot, no doubt, and if you have yet to play Snake Eater, don't start there, start here.
Cons:
-What is this game famus for? hmmmmmm, oh LONG CUTSEENES AND CALLS(I doubt that will ever change)
-No Radar, which makes it harder to know where the enemies are, and which way they are looking(Altho it's less of a problem with the 3rd person camera, it's still a problem)
-Even with cameo, I get seen as if I were a shadow in broad daylight when I'm standing(Crawling takes a while, but it pays off with a stealth kill, but still)
-Keeping an eye on everything can get repetitive(Like after I healed a gunshot, some butt-monkey shot me with a poison needle)
-Traps are usually hard too see(Like getting stuck with arrows, walking into mines, etc. unless you got thermal goggles)
How could Snake not like James Bond flicks!?(After I saved it once, he talked crap about Bond, and in the 60s Sean Connery was Bond, the BEST BOND. I'd understand if it was Roger Moore, the major had every right to say something back at him)
-Is Volgin gay?(It's just that in a certain scene he seemed that way)

Metal Gear Solid 3 is back, and back in a bigger, revamped way. Metal Gear solid 3 substance, is definitely better than MGS VR missions, and MGS2: substance by far. If any game developer is planning to make a game they made much more improved, they should check out how better this game is from the regular MGS3. This game is definitely recommended for those who love the MGS series, and those who love stealth games. Even if you have the regular MGS3, grab this, and if you never played MGS3 grab this. If you wanna be in a videogame where survival is not in a horror game, check this out. If you have a PS2 and don't have this game, someone should serve you up with a facial slap.

Fallout: New Vegas review

I have a really nice pc to run it on with another coming for Xmas.

Despite this looking and feeling like Fallout 3, it's great. What makes a person hate a sequel because it seems like DLC from it's predecessor? If it were launched as DLC for Fallout 3 I'm sure just as many or more people would've bought it. Who knows, maybe it was intended to be released as DLC and ended up being more massive than they had anticipated therefore, creating an entirely new game. I'm only about 2 hours into it but have never been as excited to get a game and play it than this. I never write reviews. I also have never bought a walk-through for a game but did for new vegas; that way i don't miss anything! I wanna play new vegas until my brain thinks VEGAS! seriously though, if you liked fallout 3 there is no way you could hate this. That's just absurd.

I also found out that this game really is just Fallout 3 in a different setting. The lead of that project called "Van Buren" (Sounds like Armin Van Buuren | #1 trance VA DJ) was also the lead designer for this series. Black Isle was supposed to have developed Fallout 3, however all the employees got laid off and they were like 80% done with the game. Knowing that bit of information makes this even more disappointing that they were trying to milk the fans of FO3 using same game engine, different plot, etc. There is no wow factor for this game anymore. Just another chapter in Fallout 3: New Vegas With Extra Bugs.

Patches make all the difference, in about six months it'll increase 0.5 points and after that the sky is the limit. +10 pts?

Blur review

Most people compare this game to Mario Kart, and it is similar! Until now Mario Kart was my favorite driving game. I'm not a huge fan of driving games such as gran turismo and need for speed. They seem very repetitive to me. Drive around in circles bla bla bla.

I like games that have different elements to it and THIS IS IT! I actually find myself driving like a maniac when I am done playing because I am all amped up.

Power ups, very challenging tasks, vibrant colors, big track selections that look amazing, a huge selection of cars (new and old), very fast paced...what more could you ask for!

There's a lot included in this game that will have you playing for quite some time. Plus its more than just racing. There are many objectives other than just racing cars. There are destruction tracks where you have to destroy other cars and checkpoint tracks where you have to race against the clock. Haven't tried the online play yet, but I'm planning to soon.

Some people complain that the graphics aren't that great. I think they look just fine. Guess people are a little too picky these days. Maybe they forget what Atari was like...??

I thing I did notice and should mention is that my driving speed was seemingly a little slow. I couldn't keep up for the life of me with the other cars I was racing. I initially switched my control settings so that the X button was used to accelerate, but just recently set it back to R2 to see if this would help and surprisingly IT MADE A HUGE DIFFERENCE!!! I'm blazing past cars and keeping up with ease now. Not sure why this would even be a problem. Tried it on 2 different controllers to make sure my controller wasn't the issue. It was very weird, but also something to look out for.

Medal of Honor review 8.0

Medal of Honor: the return of a franchise and does not just EA. No, they have people in the development achieved in the deepest secret operations run before the commands and the U.S. Army on the spot and it arrives with only one goal. That one goal is to establish the most authentic experience you can imagine. Now there is much competition with the same claims and we were looking out for you how EA has fulfilled its promises.

An army is something you in extreme emergencies can fall back. The regular army is of immense importance, because the bigger the army, the more charisma you have, the less chance there is that as a country being attacked. However, with just one army alone is not and therefore there are different types of soldiers. A perhaps more interesting are the branch commands and above are also additional special soldiers. In the U.S. military called it the Tier 1 Operators. This is an elite club of soldiers who until now little has been not in the media.

This group of soldiers are of immense importance, for where these fires are small groups of soldiers sent out to operate in secret. This is especially a very exciting job, but also one that requires you being a soldier can be good for moral decisions. In addition, these seasoned soldiers war machine, otherwise it is meaningless. Around this elite club is all about the new Medal of Honor. The concept of 'one-man-army "in World War II is now in the past. Perhaps unfortunate, but on the other hand it is a positive point, because maybe this is the franchise back on top.

In the single you will see different aspects of modern warfare pass by. So you're essentially in a club of two or four men to various commands. This ranges from the marking of enemy vehicles to search for a certain important person. All this is done in secret far behind the lines, so it is important to make this as discreet as possible to address. Sometimes we too quickly, because if something goes wrong, then all hell breaks loose like and believe me, that's not nice. On all sides you'll be harassed by the Taliban or Chechen.

The game has several moments that are quite diverse, so is very quiet one moment and you are mainly dependent on stealth and the other time there is a massive gun battle going on. Not without reason, because you play both as a Tier 1 operator with a U.S. Army Ranger. Both species show a different way of playing and that changes occurred during the game neatly. The variation is partly because there is a big story is that you experience from different perspectives and it automatically switches off the gameplay. Of course the bulk of the gameplay fighting with your machine gun or any other weapons.

But that is not the only, because you will at some point end up in an Apache helicopter to the enemy under fire from the air and then take back into the bushes on top of a mountain and end up enemies quietly with a horrible fat sniper rifle off. These elements are all in single pass, making the single player into a great unit where you will go through with pleasure. But we must say that caught our attention that the cinematic and dramatic aspects, as we know from the well-known competitor, not at all at issue.

That will be the first instance might get used, but fairly soon you have by that Medal of Honor, but more authentic than many other game. That is because the action and style of play and also the communication of vital importance. This communication takes place via the headset that each soldier has at his disposal. Now that you as a player in terms of input not being addressed, but accompanied listening is important. A very nice detail is that if you also close to a soldier who is speaking is his voice you hear in real life and also simultaneously on the radio. A subtle detail, but one that contributes to the realistic setting of the game.

The gameplay in the single player feels very well. The game plays wonderfully and leaves a strong impression that this reality particularly well know to approach. The single player from beginning to end is not only good fun to play gameplay, the story is very interesting and you know little to carry around. But we walked in single player also from a serious drawback to. The moment we thought good to get going, we suddenly turned into one of the last missions to sit. Actually, we were one hour or six working and this can undoubtedly be much faster.

The playing is far too short and that is unfortunate. We understand that the developer much emphasis on authenticity and are therefore absolutely succeed in our opinion, but maybe they are a little too much attention to the length of the single player is so short. After the play, it is fortunately not over, because there is a special Tier 1 mode. This mode is competitive built around the single player. Here you can replay the single player missions and the objective is the fastest possible time to put down. All this will appear online leaderboards and so on can indirectly compete against your friends. A nice feature that the single player will keep alive a bit longer.

Eventually you will do most of the time to stabbing in multiplayer and for this EA, the renowned studio from Sweden, DICE, ON. We all know the developer of the Battlefield parts individually well together and stabbing a have good multiplayer. This consists of a number of different multiplayer modes and these are as follows: Team Assault, Objective Raid, Combat Mission and sector control. Really different from the traditional modes are not. Team Assault is simply team deathmatch, Objective Raid is an alternative of Search & Destroy. You also have the mode in Battlefield: Bad Company, which is called Rush. This mode returns in some form in Medal of Honor, as being Combat Mission.

The last mode the game has been sector control, which is actually an alternative to Domination. Each mode is fun to play and always has enough players to spend an evening at enemies. The variation in Medal of Honor lies in the multiplayer modes, has not, as they are, as you can read little else than the usual. Yet there is one aspect really different than you normally do and that's the way of leveling. Most kills are of course very nice, but that you will not be much further. More important is to score as many points during a match.

These points do you get someone to shoot someone to help with an attack, the person who killed you to get back by killing him, and so on. As you perform more actions in a row running on your score. If you've reached a certain number of points you can enable additional features. Think of a mortar attack, UAVs, etc.. These additional features are the more you opspaart points during a match more extensive and spectacular. However, this only applies if you are not being slain. Once you are slain you have to start to earn points to unlock special attacks and this. The more points you have accumulated that are otherwise well preserved.

After a while you have a match so after a certain number of points saved up and if you get tired, then level up to a higher level. This level also provides new opportunities. Think of attachments, new weapons and much more. A concept that is not very original, but it works extremely well in this game. The multiplayer modes and options in terms of a nice completely become one. But we were annoyed at the many campers during play, well that's something that perhaps not everyone will have to suffer. Finally we can say that the good with the multiplayer and single player that is entertaining to play.

The gameplay is perfectly fine and the singleplayer is unfortunately too short, but no less fun. The multiplayer is DICE class and therefore in order. But should we make a remark on the graphics. The game looks generally good and the cut scenes are beautiful. Yet we came now and then graphically outdated textures against which in itself was strange as well shock some cut scenes enormous. The audio however, does not do anything wrong (as we have just hinted). The voice-overs are strong, the music is fantastic again and of course the weapons sound as it should.

Gran turismo 5 review

Gran Turismo 5 was one of the most popular games of recent years and finally ended the game on the shelves after less than five years of development have been. We could, like millions of others, not wait for this game and when he fell on the doormat was still an emotional moment. After the installation was a long time, but beautiful intro movie show, and then stepping into a virtual car and go racing. The first thing you notice is that Polyphony Digital is the menu completely renovated and provides a classy setup on, which is easily navigable. From the main menu, you can directly choose from the many options that the game is rich and it is for us a difficult task to find a good starting point for this review, because the possibilities are endless. Let's start with an innovative aspect of the game and that can be found under "Special". This is a separate section in the game that's full of all challenges. So you behind the wheel of a kart to participate in various steps and kart races. The karts are all matched to each other and are quite agile. Now only a small kart feature in the large whole that is called Gran Turismo 5, but that does not mean that it is entertaining. Plus, you can follow a course away from the famous NASCAR driver Jeff Gordon. He puts you in person all the important aspects and if you prefer the German cars, then the AMG driving school can participate. The rally king, Sebastian Loeb is not lacking and it allows you to race on different courses and course in a rally car. Within this special section you'll do different types of races. So you've got to drive back to front in an old Volkswagen van on the Top Gear test track. These buses do not go very fast and it's difficult to overtake not be disqualified. The opponents are not just here to give some space. What has already been appointed, is that you can rally in this section. Here you can find on gravel, snow and tarmac. It takes some getting used to how the cars to drive and it is also a transition you have to make. As your level increases you will have more of these challenges can do and they are also becoming increasingly difficult. This section is very diverse and offers a lot challenge. You can not start from the same everything, because you have the required level needed. For this course you run races, but also get licenses as we know from previous books in the series. Each race and get points because it means you can level up. Moreover, concerning the licensing, again it is not obligatory for all these papers to get all the supplies you have lot of experience and get a license even got a nice extra. Again, Gran Turismo 5 six different licenses and varies from a braking test to drive a full race without a single mistake. Now this in itself is fun to do, but really new under the sun has not. Add to this that you should make no mistake, correct course, but you constantly get punished when a computer controlled opponent you are driving, it's pretty annoying. It is a problem that some already knew and four still at issue. On the other hand, the result of obtaining the licenses, you get new cars, you can quickly leveling in the beginning and you have access to every race. This race, beyond the "Special" features to be divided between A and B-Spec. In A-Spec You get the car under control and you have several cups off work. Maybe an anticipated step of Polyphony Digital, but on the other side pity. Each cup is in fact uncritically taken over from the previous sections. Only the tracks and qualifications here and there otherwise. Ultimately, you are so for the fifth time (if you've played all the parts) to go through the same cups. These cups have a standard principle, because you select a race, this ride and you must make sure you win it. If you do not win, then you tune the car a bit, and the opponent completely lost, driving and winning the cup in your name to write. Initially set for this race **** and it's also a bit on the dull side. After all, if there is a waiting Toyota Yaris Cup? Well, no one we know in any case. However, if you're a little higher of level, you can get to work in extended and difficult race and there is also more challenging to find, making the race a lot more fun. Furthermore you will be A-Spec quite some time, because the later races are quite extensive and prolonged. Are you A-Spec Sat However, you can get started in the B-Spec mode. In B-Spec mode, you play the role as manager and you get to the start the possibility to choose a driver. You can choose from a variety of drivers and there are differences among themselves. Thus, one very strong physically and mentally different weather, but can you tell if a rider quickly raised and therefore easier to make mistakes. Ultimately, if you've chosen your driver, you can choose what outfit he wears. Then you can get started and begin managing your own driver. In the area of the races you'll see a difference between the A-Spec and B-Spec, because you need to make some races more rounds off. Perhaps this is done to prevent players from the B-Spec mode only do so for the money. When the race starts, you see, logically, your driver in the car that you've selected the starting grid, with the other participants. On the screen you see a lot of data to assist the player as much as possible. Below the screen are four boxes. These are the options you have as a manager and therefore you can say what your driver to do. So you can indicate that your driver to drive a slower pace, to keep the same tempo, pace or increase a participant has to overtake. If you perform an action once there is a sort bar which indicates when a new command can be given. The AI of your driver is not exactly as good as your driver if it seems better to reduce it. Yet it when your driver is unable for other participants to get a faster car while in motion. Also the AI has a tendency to try to catch illogical places and in the ideal turns doing nothing. And the only thing you can do is watch and distribute commands. The AI may be in the B-Spec mode not be perfect in the A-Spec mode, it is still half-baked. The developer has ensured that the AI harder as you progress Levelt. In itself a logical , but implementation is nonsense. Whatever you do, the AI simply does not understand that it is racing and that it is not a bumper car race. Regularly we have a neck and neck race that we had in the last corner of the track flown since the AI drivers not to drive over, but right through you like. The result is that you can do a race again and that is incredibly annoying. Fortunately, this somewhat as you progress in the game, but that does not mean that the AI is just stupid and that is sin. This is a significant downside to the game and what is not really too logical, is that the damage is extreme as you progress in the game comes. The reason is that the game should be progressively more difficult, but damage and a good AI, we just always or only after level 40 to name but a few. Once you damage good deal, then it looks pretty impressive, also sees a large part of the game is too graphically sublime out. The series is known that the graphics are perfectly fine and as we say it in Gran Turismo 5 for a large part in order. The game is very impressive in some areas, but sometimes ugly. And we're referring specifically to some areas outside the courts and some cars. Then you drive a race and then drop the ugly tree and textures just yet. It is something not ruin the experience, but it is remarkable. Another point is that some cars do they appear in the fourth section were taken. It just looks ridiculous. Fortunately, these are mainly of those cars that might be a good race and then drive it in the garage let alone. Furthermore, it is the famous jagged edges you'll mostly see the cars and shadows, but this does not affect our opinion on the overall experience. The lighting in the game is very nicely done, for example, you see the light shining through the trees which gives a nice effect. Thus, you can do night races and that is a graphic spectacle. Every now and then you see some fireworks in the sky, something that depends on what job you are driving. The exposure during the races at night is impressive and it is like you would expect from a title like Gran Turismo 5. The new weather effects like rain are successful and what really add to the experience. What still needs to be said is that there is a graphical difference to be noted between the premium cars and the standard versions. The first group of cars look significantly better and, on the one hand this is logical because these cars will also be where you prefer to ride along. There are also other differences between these two groups of cars. The premium, as all cars have a cockpit view, as they say and not the standard cars. That is a shame and surprising that this is after all that development time is still so. The premium cars are further operable for lights and wipers which in turn is useful in the rain. The gameplay of Gran Turismo 5 is back as we used to, but then improved. So the cars feel even better and this is due to the improved physics. In the previous sections did you sometimes feel like you're on ice was driving and heard a lot of squeak of the tires. This is much less evident and now feels much smoother racing. Road handling is a different car and you really notice changes to your car. These adjustments, which represents tuning, is also an important feature in this part. Save you from the net to win a race, you can always buy a better exhaust or suspension. The tuning is extensive and well done again. In a separate section called GT Car can take care of your car. You can wash him there, spraypainted, oil changes, engine overhauls and also allow modification. The latter is possible only in premium cars. In a racing game is of course important that the correct audio and Gran Turismo 5 is certainly the case. The soundtrack is good and now there is the option to import your own music. The cars all sound decent and have their own sound. Sometimes you ever a car that sounds like a souped up vacuum cleaner, but that is occasionally happy. Gran Turismo 5 is finally a game that builds on the foundation that the previous sections have laid. It has the necessary new features and these are usually very cool, but we must not forget the extras. So you can, through Museum tickets at the museum on all kinds of information acquire a history of a particular brand. Also you can send messages to your friends, handing out gifts, and lounging with acquaintances via the community features. Not really necessary options, but some nice extras to this game and know the possibility is most important community for online racing. Online you can use a large number of people to work and can provide many exciting races, partly because you can set the necessary things. Think about: what job you want to prepare, what car you take, penalties on or off and so on. The way the online lobbies are working well and the racing line is just very entertaining. What is particularly annoying is that you only at random or by a code, lobby your friends can join. It is a mystery why the option to join friends is nowhere to be found. That is a minimum requirement for even some multiplayer. But once you get your friends to sit in a lobby, there's nothing on the multiplayer to be desired. Gran Turismo 5 is a fantastic racing game, I leave that up. The many cars, the beautiful graphics (what moments after then), the variation in tracks, night racing, the new special events and online multiplayer make Gran Turismo 5 a complete package. You're really busy for hours with it, if not weeks or months and that does value for money. Well annoyed me greatly at times the AI and the many weaknesses that have been part four are present, but where nothing is done. There is a small portion of the premium cars only and that in combination with weaknesses feels a bit like the game is not ready yet. The feeling in me that did generate outside the fantastic racing experience, Gran Turismo 6 is finally going to be what Gran Turismo 5 should have and that is unfortunate.
