Haley Stevens Did What?

When a politician makes a move that changes nothing, the reaction should be a shrug.

A shrug is not what Haley Stevens got.

On Sunday, two days before Election Day, the Democratic congresswoman who lost Michigan’s Senate primary walked into Perfecting Church on Detroit’s east side, a black congregation, and sat down next to Republican Mike Rogers and his wife, Kristi. Then she posted a video endorsing him.

“Our Democratic nominee for Senate said I was no longer welcome in his campaign and that I should stay away,” Stevens said. “And he’s right. And that’s why I am endorsing Mike Rogers.”

One congresswoman. One church service. One video.

A few miles away, Democratic nominee Abdul El-Sayed was at another church with Jim Clyburn, Debbie Dingell, Angela Alsobrooks, and Mallory McMorrow, trying to project unity. The Associated Press called the morning a split-screen. It was a split-screen with a gospel soundtrack.

It got there fast. On Friday, Stevens asked El-Sayed to condemn an ad from an outside left-wing group linking American support for Israel to high grocery prices. El-Sayed said he didn’t agree with the ad, then accused her of relitigating a primary that ended three months ago. By Sunday, the joint church appearance was off. Dingell said she pulled it because it had become “way too distracting.”

Now watch the reaction.

Nancy Pelosi, the former Speaker, went to X to say Stevens “has chosen to dangerously betray Michigan families’ healthcare, freedoms, and future with her horrific endorsement of Mike Rogers.”

Horrific. For a church service and a video.

Chuck Schumer, who backed Stevens in the primary, called it “a despicable betrayal.”

Pramila Jayapal, the House’s leading progressive, said Stevens “has shown her true colors” and “has no place in our party.” She told Politico she supports removing Stevens from the caucus.

Michigan’s own Sen. Elissa Slotkin said she’d stayed quiet until now because voters care more about the cost of living than “daily political drama,” but that “there is simply too much at stake.”

State party chair Curtis Hertel said Stevens “abandoned everything she claims to care about,” then announced she “is not a current member of the Michigan Democratic Party, nor will she be in the future.” Her chief of staff of eight years resigned, and more staff are expected to follow. Rep. Jared Huffman of California called her move “pathetic, petty, selfish, unhinged.”

Former Speaker. Senate leader. The party’s top progressive in the House. Michigan’s sitting senator. The state party chair.

That is not how you respond to a move that doesn’t matter.

Even the quiet part leaked. A centrist House Democrat told Axios who deserves the blame: El-Sayed “created this mess.”

El-Sayed’s own answer to reporters? “None of this matters.”

His party’s reaction suggests otherwise.

Stevens, for her part, didn’t apologize. She told reporters she isn’t “turning my back on Democrats,” called her vote a personal choice made as a “proud Democrat,” and said El-Sayed standing with Hasan Piker was “not acceptable.” Days earlier she had told CNN she was voting for the nominee while urging his campaign to “shut out the hate and call it out.”

You can doubt her motives. But a reason offered in public is still a reason, and the party’s answer was a pile-on, not a rebuttal.

The heat comes from August. Stevens beat El-Sayed in Wayne and Oakland counties. She won Detroit with more than 60 percent, and El-Sayed became the first Michigan Democrat since 2018 to win a statewide primary without winning the state’s largest city. AP notes her support came from black and Jewish voters, the two pillars of the coalition Democrats need to turn out Tuesday. Last week her fiancĂ©, who is Jewish, told The Detroit News he would vote for Rogers because El-Sayed hasn’t done enough to address the Jewish community’s concerns.

Then Stevens sat in a black church in Detroit with a Republican, two days out.

El-Sayed has had Barack Obama in Detroit. Kamala Harris joined him on the trail. Clyburn was at church Sunday morning. That is a great deal of establishment firepower for a candidate whose own primary opponent just reminded everyone which voters chose her.

To be fair, the polls favor him. Eleven of twelve October surveys had him ahead, by one to seven points. Every one of them was taken before Sunday. His lead leans on young voters, independents, and anti-establishment energy. Whether the church-going, traditional Democratic voters who carried Stevens in August show up with the same enthusiasm is a question none of those polls could answer.

Does Stevens’ endorsement mean Rogers wins? I don’t know. Neither does anyone else. Maybe Detroit turns out. Maybe it doesn’t.

But I know what a snarl sounds like. When the former Speaker of the House hears about a church service in Detroit and reaches for “horrific,” she isn’t describing Haley Stevens. She’s describing her own party’s nerves.

That’s panic. After the week this slate has had, it was bound to show up somewhere.

Early voting started October 24, and plenty of ballots are already in. The ones still out belong to voters who just watched which Democrats got angry, and about what.

This Admission Shows Why Trump Was Right to End TPS for Haiti

Since the status ended in mid-July, only a few hundred Haitians have been remanded back to Haitian soil. As of this time last month, the Haitian Times reported that just 530 individuals had arrived on American deportation flights. Human Rights Watch reported similar figures, stating that “authorities have deported hundreds of Haitians back to their country.”

The startling admission from Haitian officials regarding a handful of deportees has left many wondering why so many RINO Republicans in Ohio were fighting President Donald Trump to keep their 30,000 TPS-designated Haitian residents in their state.

“We’re deporting from this country a large number of people who are working, a large number of people who are raising families, a large number of people who are really contributing to their local community,” Governor Mike DeWine said at the time.

John Kasich likewise came out to condemn Trump for ending the long-standing “temporary” protected status for Haitians.

The Supreme Court has allowed TPS for Haitians to end, putting families in Springfield and communities across the country at risk of being sent back to a country in chaos. Congress can and should extend these protections. https://t.co/cXoeacoIZ9— John Kasich (@JohnKasich) June 28, 2026

Since the Trump administration moved to crack down on TPS, only four countries remain with active TPS designations: El Salvador, Lebanon, Sudan, and Ukraine.

Here Are All the Documented Ties Between Abdul El-Sayed and the Muslim Brotherhood

Abdul El-Sayed's connections to the Muslim Brotherhood and ties to other terrorist organizations have become a central focus of the Michigan Senate race just days ahead of the midterms. El-Sayed has denied ties to the Muslim Brotherhood, and in a recent interview with Fox News' host Bret Baier, got visibly upset about being asked the question yet again.

Baier: “Rogers has really been hitting this Muslim Brotherhood thing. I know you don’t want to talk about your family and the history there—”

Abdul: “Bret, Bret, Bret, let me just, let me just—Bret,… pic.twitter.com/T1I0Au55MB— Kyle Martinsen (@KyleMartinsen_) October 23, 2026

But we have well-documented links between Abdul El-Sayed, his family, and ties to not only the Muslim Brotherhood, but to other related organizations, including al-Qaeda and Hamas.

El-Sayed's sister, Eman Abdelhadi, a far-left radical professor at the University of Chicago, described their mother's college-era activism in the Muslim Brotherhood and said the family has "long been MB" in Egypt. "Had an amazing talk with my mom about her activism in the Muslim Brotherhood during the early 70s while she was in college," Abdelhadi wrote on social media.

In addition, El-Sayed has expressed support for the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt. In a 2012 open letter that he signed as "Dr. Abdul Rahman El-Sayed, New York," 46 Egyptian-American academics supported President Mohamed Morsi and called for a "purge [of] the media and police" as well as a purge of "rejecting voices that are courting America and Europe to take a position against the Egyptian regime." Morsi led the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt and chaired the Freedom and Justice Party, the political arm of the Muslim Brotherhood.

Fatten Fathy Elkomy, El-Sayde's birth mother, was employed by the Islamic African Relief Agency (IARA). In October 2004, the U.S. Treasuring designated the U.S. branch of IARA as a Specially Designated Global Terrorist for financial ties to Osama bin Laden, al-Qaeda, and Hamas-affiliated entities.

El-Sayed also served as the Vice President of the University of Michigan's chapter of the Muslim Students Association (MSA). The National MSA was founded in 1963 by foreign students with documented ties to the Muslim Brotherhood. Researchers widely describe MSA as a feeder network.

Dr. Tayeb Jukaku, a neurologist, is El-Sayed's father-in-law. He has reported service on standing committees of the Islamic Society of North America (ISNA) and prior board membership of CAIR-Michigan. He contributed approximately $300,000 to the Fighting for Michigan PAC, supporting El-Sayed. The Islamic Society of North America is the parent organization of the Muslim Students Association.

El-Sayed has made several statements that can also be understood as being pro-Hamas. In 2018, during an appearance at a Detroit synagogue, El-Sayed said he would condemn Hamas and its actions in the same manner as certain IDF human rights abuses, equating a known terrorist organization with the Israeli military. In a 2025 statement about the October 7 Hamas-led terrorist attacks, El-Sayed called it a "heinous attack" before sending out a fundraising email that omitted all mentions of Hamas and any mention of the hostages. His campaign later said the email's timing was a mistake. In April of this year, El-Sayed told CNN that both Hamas and the Israeli government are "evil."

"Hamas: Evil. Israeli government: Evil. We can say both," El-Sayed said. And in August, El-Sayed paid lip-service to condemning Hamas before accusing Israel of committing war crimes and genocide.

There are also numerous donors to the El-Sayed campaign who have ties to terrorists. This includes Amani Barakat, who is the chair of Al-Awda, an organization that celebrated the October 7, 2023 terrorist attacks in Israel and shared video of Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh. Barakat donated $7,000 to the campaign. Abdul Dardery is a former member of the Freedom and Justice Party, the political arm of the Muslim Brotherhood, and foreign affairs spokesperson under Mohamed Morsi. He donated hundreds of dollars to El-Sayed. This also includes Hany Saqr, who was active in the early North American Islamic institutions and named repeatedly in Muslim Brotherhood documents, and Hasan Piker, the social media influencer who said America deserved 9/11 and campaigned with El-Sayed.

Speaking of Hasan Piker, he said on August 24, 2026, that El-Sayed is not moderating on these issues. "Questioning Abdul's sincerity on these issues ... moderating on Israel ... don't think he is, and I'm literally the person being dangled ... and he's not moderating on anything like that."

And former El-Sayed campaign staffer Abdoul Beckwith said, "He can't just say, you know, no. I don't support Hamas, you know, I reject all of them, because he's going to lose the people that brought him up in the first place."

These ties matter, as does El-Sayed's refusal to directly answer questions on them. He wants a seat in the Senate, and wants to be on the Committee on Foreign Relations, and Michigan voters deserve to know where he stands on Hamas, the Muslim Brotherhood, and the other problematic ties he has to terrorist organizations

The Amount of Evidence Against Ilhan Omar Could Scale Everest. Here's the List.

[T]he three years of verified evidence published by Scott Johnson, Preya Samsundar, and myself (…) appear to give probable cause to investigate Omar for eight instances of perjury, immigration fraud, marriage fraud, up to eight years of state and federal tax fraud, two years of federal student loan fraud, and even bigamy. To be clear: The facts describe perhaps the most extensive spree of illegal misconduct committed by a House member in American history.”

At the time, Ilhan Omar’s potential involvement in the $240M Feeding Our Future fraud (which resulted in the 2025 conviction of her close relative/campaign worker, and U.S. taxpayer money being sent to Al-Shabaab terrorists in Somalia) had not yet occurred.

Also, her $30 million “accounting error” had not yet occurred.

Reports of her campaign’s links to the Cedar Riverside neighborhood’s “open secret” of widespread vote-buying among Somalis (linked below) were still few.

And the assertion did not include my January 24, 2019 article (linked below) on the remarkable national security risk of her sister Sahra Noor’s husband.

If you are an American voter: Before voting, please make the time to read the 25 articles below in chronological order. I believe you will find it to have been a worthwhile decision.

I expect you will find the following conclusion to be unavoidable: For a decade, each Democratic Party figure and media figure who denigrated these articles lied to you.

Either they lied about the quality and scale of evidence, or they lied about having performed due diligence, choosing to cause national division without knowing if they were the bad guys.

By October 2020, perhaps a hundred items of evidence with only one rational reason to exist were already public. As of October 2026, zero pieces of public evidence support Omar’s side of the story.

Some Democrats Hook Up With Family Members. All Want to Screw You.

I know a lot of people, all of whom dated around before finding the person they eventually married. Every single one of them, to a person, knows for certain whether or not the people they dated were related to them. No ambiguity, no open question, no qualifiers on their answer – they knew whether or not they’d been fishing off the family pier.

That question, however, gets murky for some… apparently. Where most people could definitively say they’d never picked anyone up at Thanksgiving dinner, many Democrats have to think about it, and some still do not know.

Democrat Rep. Ilhan Omar, representing Mogadishu, is one such person. Questions persist about whether or not she married her brother, or maybe her cousin, to commit immigration fraud and get him citizenship.

Let me just say that, if they are related, I hope it was to commit immigration fraud. Because consummating that marriage would…well, require her to move to Maine, I think. I might be wrong about that.

The questions of Ilhan’s first legal marriage are interesting beyond the potential criminal implications. She’d been in a “religious” marriage with a man who would become her second “legal” husband for years already, even having kids with him, but they never took it outside the “religious” realm.

Despite having lived for six years in Dearborn, Michigan, I am not an Islamic scholar. I did not, for example, know that some Islamic women were so “sexually liberated” as to be able to sleep with men they weren’t legally married to, then marry someone else legally and have another kid with their “religious” other husband, only divorcing number 1 legal after almost a decade to marry “religious” number 1, making him number 2.

Like I said, I’m no religious scholar, so I had no idea women in the Muslim faith could live like a Penthouse letter or party at Cornell. I have been wildly misinformed, apparently.

As an aside, it is a bit odd that women in Muslim countries are whipped or executed for showing their hair or singing or dancing online, but Ilhan Omar can live life like a 1970s key party and be considered a pillar in the community.

Oh, and her first “legal” husband is gay. Did I mention that? Again, maybe I was wildly misinformed about the treatment of homosexuals in Islamic countries because, at least in the Middle East, gravity is not too kind to them, yet in Ilhan’s world it’s no big deal.

Everything about Ilhan Omar seems to defy the norms of life.

Her third husband was a very successful businessman… or a loser who helped run businesses into the ground. We don’t know.

Omar (or is it Ilhan Nur Said Elmi) told Rachel Hayes or Chris Maddow (I can’t tell them apart) that she and her husband are basically broke, living paycheck to paycheck. That struck me as odd since, in 2020, her campaign paid his consulting firm almost $2.8 million. Where did that money go?

More interesting: what was the money for? Omar represents a very gerrymandered district that will always elect a Democrat, whether they run a campaign or not. She doesn’t need millions to win; she routinely pulls in over 70 percent of the vote – over 74 percent in her last two elections.

Ironically, when “legal” husband number 3 was raking in millions, it was the worst she’d done in all her elections – 64.3 percent. Whatever “consulting” she paid her husband for, he must’ve sucked at it.

What was he paid for? Who knows? But I will say that if she’d taken that campaign money and put it in her account, it would have been a crime. Giving her husband’s firm that money and him putting it in their joint bank account is what I like to call “perfectly legal corruption.” Just saying.

Was that money the basis for their $30 million financial disclosure filing? Where did the money go? How are they basically broke now? She says the filing was “an accounting error,” but she signed it. Wouldn’t you think someone broke might question why they were signing a document swearing they had a net worth of $30 million? She didn’t. She then refiled, once people noticed, saying they only had a net worth of under $100,000. Is that left over from the $2.8 million?

It's a mystery for the ages.

Everything around Ilhan Omar is a mystery. She’s been skating by with the protection of a Democrat establishment full of Members who engage in much of the same financial “curiosities” and moral shadiness, and the help of a media that slavishly adheres to identity politics over everything else. She’s only facing questions now because the Trump administration doesn’t play any of those disgusting games.

Putting aside the potential incest, bigger questions need answering, like: is Ilhan Omar a criminal? Is she a citizen? How can someone win an election or swear an oath to the Constitution under a fake name? Where did all the money come from and where did it go? These are all questions Americans are owed answers to, and Democrats hope remain hidden.

Given their awful, damaging policies, only one thing can be said about Democrats for certain: If they’re not trying to screw you, they’re trying to screw you over.
