Even the NYT Is Calling Biden Out for His 'Cold Shoulder and Heart' Towards Granddaughter

 President Joe Biden and First Lady Jill Biden have acted shamelessly when it comes to their seventh grandchild, as they don't even acknowledge Hunter Biden's 4-year-old daughter. Time after time, the couple has bragged about their "six grandchildren." White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre just this past Wednesday's press briefing refused to speak to the issue. This isn't surprising given her track record of incompetency, but it doesn't make the situation any more excusable.

    White House reporter brings up an NY Times article on Hunter Biden's daughter in Arkansas and asks if the president acknowledges the little girl as his granddaughter.

The reporter in question had brought up an article from The New York Times from the previous weekend, though that's not the only time the leftist media outlet has discussed the family drama. On Saturday, they published a column from Maureen Dowd, "It’s Seven Grandkids, Mr. President."

A significant portion of the column is actually about the columnist's sister, Peggy, a Republican who has voted for Democrats, including the Obama-Biden ticket in 2008 and then even wrote in Biden's name in 2012:

    “I watched as you told the nation that you had six grandchildren and you loved each one of them,” she wrote. “I believe that. What I cannot believe and what I find unconscionable is that you refuse to admit or accept the fact that there is a beautiful little 4-year-old girl living in Arkansas by the name of Navy Joan who is your seventh grandchild.”

    Peggy wrote about Hunter’s high-priced lawyers going down to Arkansas to make sure Navy could not use the Biden name and to slash child support payments.

    “She has the Biden blood running through her veins, and all she is going to have as a reminder of this are some of Hunter’s original paintings; sounds like a lousy trade-off, if you ask me,” Peggy wrote, referring to the agreement that assigned some of Hunter’s artwork to the daughter he has never met, even though DNA testing in 2019 established his paternity.

    “As she grows up, knowing that her father and paternal grandparents wanted nothing to do with her,” Peggy wrote, “she will probably be able to see a video or two showing her half sister Naomi getting married on the South Lawn and you watching the fireworks on the balcony with little Beau. And if she misses that, there will be plenty of schoolmates to remind her that she wasn’t wanted. Kids can be mean that way.”

    She asked why Hunter couldn’t act like Tom Brady, who treats his son by Bridget Moynahan, the actress he was dating before he married Gisele Bündchen, the same as the two children he and Gisele had. (Not to mention Arnold Schwarzenegger, who says in a new Netflix documentary series that he has a great relationship with the son he had after a tryst with his family’s housekeeper that broke up his marriage.)

    “Mr. President, many years ago, you lost your daughter in a horrendous car accident,” Peggy continued. “I know you still carry that pain with you every day because I have watched your face when you speak about her. Please do not throw away your granddaughter.”

The letter is particularly telling in that it comes from a Biden fan, and with excerpts of it being published in such a Biden-friendly outlet. The columnist herself holds nothing back against the president, going on to say "this is not a political issue to us. It’s a human one."

Let's keep in mind that liberals love to point to Biden as a family man, or what they say is his sense of empathy. Biden himself has noted that he ran "to restore the soul of this country, a sense of decency and honor." What might otherwise endear Biden to voters though, makes him come off as that much more of a hypocrite.

After pointing to the matter as "a human one," Dowd adds that "Joe Biden’s mantra has always been that 'the absolute most important thing is your family.' It is the heart of his political narrative. Empathy, born of family tragedies, has been his stock in trade."

"What the Navy story reveals is how dated and inauthentic the 80-year-old president’s view of family is," Dowd also points out, especially since "now we have become vastly more accepting of nontraditional families."

It only gets more charged from there, as Dowd pulls on the heart strings of readers, and hopefully of Biden. After talking about the president's relationship with his son, she notes that "the president can’t defend Hunter on all his other messes and draw the line at accepting one little girl. You can’t punish her for something she had no choice about. The Bidens should embrace the life Hunter brought into the world, even if he didn’t consider her mother 'the dating type.'"

Not only does Hunter consider the mother of his child, Lunden Roberts, a former exotic dancer, to be "hardly the dating type," he also claimed to not recall their encounters. Despite this, he "put her on the payroll of his consulting firm as a personal assistant while she was pregnant. About three months after Navy was born, Hunter took away Roberts’s company health insurance," Dowd's column recaps, in case you need to be reminded of just how terribly Hunter Biden had treated his daughter and her mother.

The part of the column that looks to be getting the most attention is the very end, as Dowd in closing writes that "[t]he president’s cold shoulder--and heart--is counter to every message he has sent for decades, and it’s out of sync with the America he wants to continue to lead."

Unfortunately, the Biden family has shown the country their true colors, especially when it comes to 4-year-old Navy Joan Roberts, but also in their contempt for the American people daring to know more about the cocaine that was just last week discovered at the White House, or when it comes to the t politicized and weaponized Biden Department of Justice (DOJ) is going after the president's top political opponent for 2024.

As is mentioned, and as Townhall has been covering, it was recently revealed that a settlement had been reached between Hunter Biden and Lunden Roberts, with support payments being lowered and Navy Joan not being allowed to have the Biden name. Instead, she will be given her father's paintings.

From book dedications to Christmas stockings that acknowledge the family dog but not Navy, the Bidens have gone through great lengths to reject the little girl. Joe Biden also claimed to have only six grandkids while speaking to children outside of the White House back in April, demonstrating how he and his family have publicly denied Navy Joan.

Survey Finds Most Popular Beers in America. Bud Light's Not Even in the Top 10.

 Rocked by a massive boycott over its partnership with trans influencer Dylan Mulvaney, Bud Light was recently dethroned as America’s top selling beer to Modelo. But the bad news for the brand just keeps getting worse. A new survey finds Americans don’t even rank it in the top 10 beers in the U.S.

According to a YouGov poll of 1,468 people, while the percentage of people who “liked” the beer stayed the same, the popularity of its competitors climbed so much it kicked Bud Light into 14th place, tied with Pabst Blue Ribbon.  

    For its survey, YouGov polled a nationally representative sample of 1,468 Americans during the second quarter of 2023, which runs from April to the end of June.

    They found that Guinness, Corona and Heineken were the three most liked beers of 2023, with approval from 58 percent, 53 percent and 51 percent of Americans, respectively.

    In the second quarter of 2022, 42 percent of Americans 'liked' Bud Light, according to YouGov, putting it on a par with Corona Extra, Dos Equis and Coors Light.

    The Bud Light figure remained the same during the second quarter of 2023, but as other beers saw their approval rise, its relative approval fell into a tie with Pabst Blue Ribbon, Miller Genuine Draft and Miller Light. (Daily Mail)


Sales of Bud Light have been stuck in a downward spiral since April, with the number of units sold ahead of the July 4 holiday falling 31.3 percent from the same time the year prior. This comes despite efforts by the brand to entice customers, such as offering rebates that make it cheaper than water in some warehouses.

The sustained backlash has caused parent company Anheuser-Busch to lose $27 billion in market cap since the boycott began.

A few days in danbury, Wisconsin

 When I drove here, I drank 7up. I was looking at Youtube and Snapchat. I walked down to the lake 26 and I saw a family there, some girls in bikini so I kept my distance. I went down to the dock with Lindsey (dog). I saw a UTV parked in the middle of the parking lot in the park. After I took pictures of the park, I walked on a bike trail across the street. It was a grassy place with fallen birch snags in the middle of the trail so I went back toward the road. I see a lot of UTVs around Danbury, Wisconsin driving on the road. On the way back, I saw a husky, who was trying to be dominant. After a brief sniff, I was on my way to the camper. I had hot dogs later that day. On the radio, there was Gretchen Wilson- Redneck Woman playing on the radio. I thought there was a lot of rednecks in danbury with their UTVs, log cabins, pickups, country music.

The next day, I drove to Siren Antiques. The antique store had lots of worn out stuff dating around 2007 or earlier. It’s strange that 2007 is somehow antique, but I think they charge outrageous prices…. double the thrift store next door. I saw old hunting books from 1991. I saw some girls mystery books from 1995. Then I saw some brooks and dunn and alan Jackson greatest hits and Elvis cds at $4. The old PS2 sports video games were already $25, outrageous for old sports games that cost $5 a decade ago. Then we had a burger and pizza at Wild Waters Bar near the St. Croix Casino danbury. Dad told me if I mingle with the locals in the bar, I would get punched. There was a live rock band.

Next day, I got ice cream at Dairy Queen in Siren, Wisconsin. Mom looked at the refrigerator for ice cream products. We bought ice cream cones. I bought strawberry. Dad bought hot fudge. Mom bought chocolate. We sat on the bench at first until a table was open.

SCOTUS Uses Nancy Pelosi's Words Against Her In Decision to Strike Down Biden’s student loan plan

 Former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi's (D-Calif) past comments came back to haunt her after the Supreme Court struck down President Joe Biden's student loan forgiveness plan on Friday— handing conservatives a win.

In the 6-3 ruling that wiped away Biden's $400 billion student debt plan, Chief Justice John Roberts cited a speech that Pelosi gave at a press conference in July 2021 in his opinion.

"As then-Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi explained: 'People think that the President of the United States has the power for debt forgiveness. He does not. He can postpone. He can delay. But he does not have that power. That has to be an act of Congress,'" Roberts wrote.

During her speech, Pelosi mentioned a scenario where "your child just decided they want to – at this time, not want to go to college, but you're paying taxes to forgive somebody else's obligations."

The Democrat claimed voters would not be happy about Biden's plan to forgive student loans, making it appear to question whether such policy would be "fair."

The Supreme Court has been mulling the President's heavenly-funded plan for months as six Republican-led states sued the Biden Administration, claiming he overstepped his legal authority.

Biden announced his plan last year, estimating it would wipe the debt of at least 20 million Americans, providing relief to the remaining 20 million. The program's objective of eliminating up to $10,000 in federal student loan debt for borrowers making less than $125,000 and up to $20,000 for Pell Grant recipients was struck down, dealing a major blow to Democrats.

Student loan payments were paused multiple times over the past several years. However, after a three-year hiatus, interest will start accruing on Sept. 1, with payments beginning to be due in October.

Who Is Really President? It’s Barack Obama

 

Yes, Joe Biden is the 46^th President of the United States and enjoys all the benefits of the office, including travel on Air Force One and Secret Service protection. He assumed the office after a controversial and contested election employing a “basement” campaign strategy with few events and media interviews. 

Since his inauguration, his mental and physical condition has seriously deteriorated. With his declining health, it is inconceivable that Joe Biden can serve as President until he is 86 years old. However, when asked about his age and the concerns of Americans, Biden usually says “watch me.”

Yes, we are watching and that is why millions of Americans are horrified about a physically weakened and mentally incompetent President continuing in the most important office in the world. 

As noted by former White House Physician and U.S. Representative Ronny Jackson (R-TX), Biden is “not fit mentally or physically to be our President, and it’s a bad situation for us.” As Jackson explained, “his physical decline is now starting to highlight the cognitive decline that we’ve been watching for so long now…It’s a package that just doesn’t sell around the world, and it’s becoming a national security issue for us.”

Jackson is not alone; all Americans can clearly see there is something wrong with Biden. A recent NBC News poll showed that an astounding 68% of all voters “have concerns about Biden having the necessary mental and physical health” to serve as President of the United States. Among all poll respondents, 55% attest that their concerns about Biden’s condition are “major.”

The evidence of his problems is plain for every American to see. Biden often seems lost after finishing speeches and needs help exiting the stage. In a recent MSNBC interview, he bizarrely walked away before the host could end the segment.

He recently suffered a major fall on stage at the Air Force Academy commencement ceremonies. Americans have also seen him fall off his bike and trip while walking up the stairs of Air Force One. This may be why he recently started using a less intimidating set of stairs to exit the aircraft. 

His speaking gaffes are too numerous to mention. He commits errors in practically every interview and speech he delivers. In the last week, he confused Iraq for Ukraine several times.

His stories about his background and family life are so preposterous that Americans know he is lying. Whether Biden believes these whoppers or not is a legitimate question since he has a long history of telling outright lies and committing plagiarism.

However, occasionally, the truth will emerge, and Biden will make a curious comment. For example, he will claim that he cannot answer questions or mention something because he is worried about being scolded by a mysterious individual or group. 

At a recent speech to the League of Conservation Voters, Biden talked about building a “railroad from the Pacific all the way across the Indian Ocean” Of course, this was another misstatement for it referred to building a railroad across the continent of Africa. Biden concluded his remarks by claiming, “I could go on, but I’m not. I’m going off script. I’m going to get in trouble.”

No wonder Biden’s staff does not want him going “off script.” When he does, the results can be ugly. Outside the White House while briefing talking with reporters, before leaving on Marine One, Biden screamed “No” when asked about his involvement in his son’s shady business deals. 

This is why Biden conducts few press conferences and when he does submit to questions, he calls on a list of pre-approved reporters his staff has prepared. 

Biden is tightly controlled by his staff who exert powerful control over his presidency. He seems to be in constant fear of getting “in trouble” with “his staff.”

Isn’t Joe Biden the President of the United States? If so, why is he worried about getting “in trouble?” Who has this kind of influence over the most powerful person in the world?

As Tucker Carlson stated in a 2022 Sky News Australia interview, Biden is “merely a proxy for the people…running the U.S. government. The faceless diabolical figures that are driving us into the abyss … they’ve benefited greatly from having a senile president.”

Who are the “diabolical figures” who control Joe Biden? One of the most influential is the First Lady, Dr. Jill Biden. She is the one who initially vouched for his health as a 2020 presidential candidate. She is the one who continually whispers in his ear what to say and guides him off stage and through crowds at events. She must be giving him some type of care when the cameras are off. Without her approval, Biden would be dismissed as unfit for the presidency, so her role is huge. 

On the political side, one figure looms large, Biden’s former boss, Barack Obama. On Tuesday, Obama and Biden had lunch at the White House. At a fundraiser in New York, Biden joked that when he hears Hail to the Chief, he looks around for Obama. At the same event, he admitted that Obama had been “helping out a lot.”

Obama had his key aide, Susan Rice, ensconced in a key White House position for the first two years of the Biden presidency. As he attempts to run for re-election, Biden will be relying even more on Obama. 

Unlike Biden, Obama is still physically and mentally active. He is still incredibly involved in political issues and wants to see the far-left agenda implemented. He knows that if Donald Trump is elected again as President, his legacy will be further destroyed. 

In a December 2020 CBS interview, Obama revealed his preference for a “third term” in which he would be in control in his “basement,” but his lackey would wear an “earpiece” and “deliver the lines” written by Obama. 

Unfortunately for Obama, Biden cannot “deliver the lines” very well, but he sure can follow orders.
